I am not ashamed to say that I would happily wake up to that.

I saw someone in the TV Line comments suggest Claire Danes, which would be awesome, but will almost certainly not happen.

Anna Friel, if any of Bryan's old crew do actually make it into the show.

Ohhh, I really love the idea of Neve Campbell. I love her. She's not nearly in enough stuff anymore.

Honestly, the only way to re-adapt Silence of the Lambs is through this vision of Fuller's. Let's be honest... you can't really repeat the success of what the film did. I'd much prefer to see Clarice Starling as told by Fuller but Fuller has already twisted the canon around so much it isn't so inconceivable anymore. Build it within the fabric and twist it around and you have something fresh that can still be Silence of the Lambs. However, let's not pretend the expectations of the absence of Starling won't be there.

Even if they keep Will around, I wonder if they'll still **** his life up like Harris did at the end of Red Dragon. Disfigured, wife left him, alcoholic. Could make for a great arc showing his recovery, plus Fuller said that they left the entire Clarice/FBI corruption subplot from Hannibal out to save it for a potential Post-SotL season.

And we need Lee Pace in drag for Buffalo Bill. He'd do him.

Now I love that idea. That is totally uncharted territory where Fuller could go anywhere. To see Will try to climb his way up out of a pit of despair and try to put himself back into Hannibal's life (a third time no less) would be incredibly exciting. It could be one one hell of a closing season for the show if they want it to be. You could even finish off Hannibal's story which nobody really knows. Maybe we would even get to see how Hannibal Lecter will die.

Yeah, it could be an interesting twist of Silence by having it maybe half be about Will at his lowest point while contrasted with Clarice's rise and success. Then after that show how Clarice falls into the trap everyone did in season 2 by getting sucked into Hannibals web.

At that point, the end of the novel Hannibal, the FBI is extremely corrupt and Jack Crawford is dead. It'd be the perfect time to have Will pull himself together and get back oh the hunt.

I do like the ideas I've seen here. Maybe we'll see some of these on the screen.

Yeah, same. Even if Will has to go through (more) hardships, I want him to be as victorious as possible...in the messed up world this TV show has...of course.

I think Will breaking even would be a major victory by this point, considering how much he went through.

So I told A Necessary Evil in another thread I've yet to see this show. I already know I will love it though, so this weekend will try to grab both seasons on blu ray. It's a 3 day weekend so good time to watch if I get around to it. Then I can come in here to discuss with you folks :woot:

it's an excellent show to binge watch. I do recommend that you watch with the subtitles on, all the better to catch every word of the greatly nuanced and complicated dialog. :D

Fuller could even give us a relationship between Starling and Graham. Not romantic but platonic strong bond where the two really need each other in their lives. Maybe Graham sees Abigail in Clarice and will do all that he can so she doesn't turn out like her.

Or hey, don't be surprised if Fuller goes with the ending of the novel of Hannibal where Clarice runs off with Lecter and Graham has to try to pull her back into the light.

There's a whole bunch of directions you can go into that can create great television.

I wonder how much procedural type stuff will come into play this year. Like, last year it got away from that more and more and I would love nothing more than for that to continue.

Not yet, I'm curious as to how that'll look.

I didn't mind the procedural stuff but I can't see them using it as much as they had considering how the story is going.

Bummer its pushed back, but Summer means less competition, no?

GODAMMIT! I was really hoping to see what happened sooner. :(
