Dragonball: Evolution Goku Toy Review

I'm totally gonna get it. But why is Oozaru see-through blue and why is it based on that fish design we saw way back? We know that Oozaru doesn't look like that in the movie.

Because fish head was going to be the Oozaru in the film and the toy probably went into production. But due to the overwelming negative feedback from the leaked screen shots they CGI'd the ape Oozaru in the film...unfortunately they forgot about the toy LOL t:

i see the toy's quality matches the movie. i don't think i would've wanted that even when i was 5. i've had early 90's WWF figures that looked better than that.

I got this guy today as well....tomorrow piccolo. Decent articulation and accessories. Bummed that oozaru is a shell though

Heres a MOC pic of Goku. There is this version and an all blue version of him but I opted for this.

He's got some nice poseablility and can hold them well, although there are some balance issues with a pose like the one above.

The dragonball seems a bit big to be in scale with the figures, not a big deal though. There is a "build a figure" for this series and it's Oozaru.

He's pretty awesome though, whether the movie sucks or not I'll still get Piccolo and Roshi too...here's hoping they make an Ernie Hudson figure from the movie!

Hey, I don't usually post on the these particular DB forums...I'll come by once and awhile for..guess what....INFO on the toys!

So I PERSONALLY wanted to thank you for the review...I for one am glad you did one..dont listen to anyone else laughing or thinking its stupid to do a review of a 'toy'...(it's an action figure anyways!)

Oh its all good....either way I do appreciate toy reviews big time! Lets me know if I want to get the figure, what scale its in, how the detail is etc.

However judging from the fact that this movie will be a gigantic smelly piece of horse **** and the fact that the too pronounced holes in the figures legs are arms make the toys look stupid I dont think I'll be getting them which is a shame because I've always dreamed of the day I'd be able to get toys based off of a live action Dragon Ball Z movie

I would say if you like DBZ before the movie or even if you like the movie after seeing it go for them. I have goku and now piccolo. I probably won't get more but they are cool little figures in the 4 inch scale and do have pretty good poseability. Not Marvel Universe posing or GI Joe but still decent
