Well, he has stared in 2 action franchises, didnt have much of a part in either but was pretty good in them. And considering the heavy make-up Drax will need i'm sure they can make him look a bit older.

Not saying he would be my first pick but wouldnt mind if he got cast.

Lol, Ok so your Not ok with casting a wrestler-actor or any one who looks the part with a minimum resume, but your ok with casting a 22yr old as the killer of Thanos?.... Ahhhh The BS of comic threads

Vin Diesel should be Drax. The modern Drax was basically modelled on Riddick anyway.

You know I'm tired of reading this "Vin Diesel Should be Drax", BC he's NOT going to be Drax. Why would he play Drax when he is all ready Riddick in his own franchise? So can we STOP with the Vin Diesel for Drax stuff.

You know who should be Drax, some one who fans will recognize as Drax for the next 2-3 films. Like chris hemsworth is thor.

At least Liam Hemsworth is an ACTOR, plus he played a killer in Expendables 2 and has the physicallity for the role, would take him over a wrestler anyday.

The BS of comic threads indeed :whatever:.

Way too young. Drax needs to be more seasoned.

^Not saying he was my first choice, but has some attributes that would benefit him in the role. And he could grow into the role, his brother is only a couple of years older yet it already seen as Thor.

BUT, I have a lot of actors I would take ahead of him, and I dont want any wrestlers any were near the role (and that isnt a jibe at you deadmannuck12, so please dont take it that way).

7 years is a good bit older and he doesn't look boyish like Liam. Besides, Thor was always a pretty boy. And he was supposed to play a young and rash Thor, who needed to learn humility.

Personally, Liam wouldn't be my 5th, 10th or 20th choice. I just don't think he's the guy for the role.

Fair enough, I think with the make-up Drax requires they could make him look older, but if you dont he fits the role that fine, opinions and all that.

Didnt realise Chris was 7 years older than Liam, damn, that is quite a gap.

Thats what I'm saying he's 22-23 right now, thats way to young for Drax. drax need to be at leas 30yrs old. His attitude cant be that of a boy, but of a man

So wait...a 50 year old Star-Lord and a 22 year old Drax? Come on people.

oh my god this. I feel like it is forgotten that Thor is supposed to be this beautiful, beautiful man

Liam Hemsworth is a baby. And his resume as an actor is virtually non-existent. Not an option.

It's about the same as his brother's was before Thor. I'm not saying that I want as Drax, but that's not a good reason at all.

of course its a good reason. a resume is always a good reason for ANY job. Hemsworth had a much more substantial resume than his brother. Liam barely HAS a resume. And again, he just got his pubes. Not in the running for Drax in any way shape or form.

of course there are actors who despite lack of experience blow away the casting director and get the part, but having a resume is generally a good thing. sorry if this is a surprise to you.

Chris had nearly 200 episodes on an Australian tv show plus several films under his belt. A substantial resume and more than enough material for the preliminary judgement of a producer or casting director. Not sure what you're talking about frankly.

I would rather see the oldest Hemsworth brother Luke over the youngest Liam.

Not that I think either Hemsworth brother are the best choice

How many Hemsworth brothers are there? Is his acting any good?

Three Hemsworth brothers. I've only ever seen on Neighbours and Bikie Wars Brothers In Arms. His alright.

Its funny that all three Hemsworth brothers were in Neighbours.

Lol hes got the look. Ill still take a top notch actor over a brick. But maybe the guy can act, who knows.

I was just talking about movies, but you're right, so we'll leave it at that.

To be honest I thought he was older than that, thought he was 25 going on 26 which probably would have been 27 by the time movie came out. But yeah, he is too young.

This is why your post confuse me, you know nothing about the guy but your willing to give him a shot as Drax bc of his look and last name. But if he was a wrestler you would scream "NO NO NO!" if any one liked him based on his look.

This is why you're a hypocrite :-p

FYI Luke is 5'11 and fat, NOT Drax in my opinion.
