I will say this..i trust the Marvel brass implicitly when it comes to casting. They have really done a terrific job in that regard. Thus If Bautista actually ends up with an offer, i will assume he somehow blew Feige and his cronies away when he auditioned and i won't write him off.

You know what's interesting is Momoa is actually by far the best guy who's even been linked to the role. All the other guys rumoured have been kinda rubbish.

I used to watch pro-wrestling back in the day, so I don't have a built-in hate for Batista - But they generally usually make for forgettable actors.

I'm sure you can get Batista for a few select character roles, but IMHO not for Drax.

Exactly, as I have said before, Drax will require acting talent even if he doesnt say much, so get someone who can act for the role.

Also if Drax and Thor should ever happen to share a scene, I'm not sure I'd what Drax to seem like the bigger powerhouse.

That makes it a bit better if that is the case, but he is still very broad and probably has 15 lbs of muscle over Hemsworth. Not a huge deal, but I just would rather Drax not seem more powerful than Thor. I still think Drax is going to be someone that hasn't been heavily rumored.

There's a reason he deleted it. Either way, he was the first to report Bautista as being up for the role and being a major contestant for it as well. LR's info on this was legit. If nothing else, when it comes to GotG scoops, I'll trust what Mayimbe says. LR is now 2 for 2 with GotG.
