the community forums just had a story about some 20 year old who got shot for more or less dressing like tim burton

I dressed as Willy Wonka (Gene Wilder style) to the new Wonka movie premier and it was alot of fun. The whole thing was hand made and not too comfortable (who knew purple velvet couch fabric would be really hot). I had the costume from halloween two years before.

That said, since I have a knee length, made to fit purple suit coat its mightey tempting to go dressed up.

i did it for my formal, i think you guys call it prom, classic joker at the event, ledger joker at the after parties

Oh, I'd definately dressing up. Probably with Joker Make-Up, but seeing as I have bright blonde hair, I'm going to avoid dying it green.

Seeing people dress up is one of my favorite things about midnight showings. LoL, I like to laugh at them. Seeing people run around as Spider-Man, Storm, Obi-Wan, even Sweeney Todd! It makes for a good laugh. A friend and I talked about dressing up before, but neither of us have the balls to do it.

That said, at the midnight show my group of friends and I will all be wearing our "I Believe In Harvey Dent" shirts we got from the Dentmobiles. I will also bring my SDCC Joker Mask. That is about as far as I'll go.

Not only am I going dressed as the Joker (I am actually having a tailor that I know make it. My clothing is "custom" lol) my girlfriend is more than likely going dressed as a Nolanverse version of Harley and I got about 10 friends going in criminal clown costumes! I plan on either being very popular at the movies that night or scaring the holy crap out of people lol

im going as the joker but goign as my version of a punk joker with some tripp shorts they have purple ones SCORE!!! and with some special joker spike gloves joker watch necklace made of card suits and etc...gonna be awesome

I was going to, but I'm having trouble finding the proper suit. Purple with orange lining is hard to come by. I'm gonna try and get the suit custom made, even if I can't get it in time. Halloween is always fun, and I just plain love the Harlequin of Hate.

I'm gonna dress up as well. I don't know what I'll wear. Probably a shirt, maybe a pair of jeans. I'm not sure about the jeans, though, since it will be hotter than a dog's mouth here (mid-July in DC isn't always pleasant). So I think I'll actually wear a pair of khaki shorts with a beige t-shirt or something. And since it's summer, there definitely has to be sunglasses. OH, and flip flops. Shoes are one of the few things required in movies these days, and I certainly wouldn't want to get kicked out of the theater simply for forgetting shoes! That would be so silly...

I'd love to watch TDK in the states just to see what kind of crowd you get, UK crowds are very timid at the cinema......

I would love to go to the showing in makeup as harley or the joker, but I would have to go alone, as none of my friends would be seen dead with me like that. I'll probably end up just wearing a batman shirt or something. I need some comic-book fan friends.
