Sony just announced that it will hold it's conference on June 15th at 11:30am PDT. What are your predictions? Will we see Killzone 3, Resistance 3, or InFamous 2? Will they announce, finally, a release date for GT5? How much of the conference will Move take up? Will we get pricing and bundle info? Any exclusive game bombshells dropping? Any previously exclusive games going multiplat bombshells dropping? Will PSP2 make an appearance? Place your bets and make your predictions.

My Predictions
-Move showcase
-Socom 4 Gameplay
-Resistance 3 maybe like a teaser
-Last Guardian Gameplay
-MGS Rising Gameplay
-The Agency Gameplay
-GT5 Gameplay
-Infamous 2 announcement we all know it's coming
-PSP news (something like a new firmware update FLASH so we can watch youtube and surf the web properly!!!!)
-PS2 News (last year maybe? discontinuing)
-Price Cut?
-Hopeful Splinter Cell Conviction going Third Party if the Rumours are true
-and of course a sequel to the best FPS on the PS3....
KILZONE 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sequels to popular games will be shown.
They will show off some "real" games with the Playstation Move.
Someone will look like a tool demoing the Playstation Move.
PSP successor unveiled.
Twisted Metal will finally be shown.
Final Fantasy Versus XIII will be demoed.
Final Fantasy XV will be announced.
Jack Tretton will continue to kick ass.

- The PSP 2 will be announced. Due to the failure of the PSP Go!, I think it will have a physical media disk like the original PSP to play games.

Game Announcements: Twisted Metal 8, inFamous 2, Resistance 3, Uncharted 3, Killzone 3, EverQuest 3

Longshot Announcement: Ratchet and Jak

Desired Announcement that will not happen: MediEvil III, Sly Cooper 4

Sony could really blow it's load this year. It's been long enough that we haven't heard about sequels to infamous, Killzone, Resistance and MotorStorm now, and Eat Sleep Play are set to show the game they've been hiding for years.

That alone would be enough to make anyone happy, but I'm really hoping we get word of when either DC Universe Online or The Agency is going to hit. MMOs take forever... but I've been waiting on DC for so long now. It'd also be nice to get confirmation on FFvXIII and FFXIV.

Also, giving last year to the 360, Kojima demoing MGS: Rising on Sony's stage would be amazing.

I agree with everyone here pretty much. A decent string of sequel announcements, some updates and trailers of games we already know about, some hardware announcement, and probably 2 surprises. Sony learned well these last few E3's and has been leaving a good surprise for near the end. My guesses at what's shown -

- inFamous 2
- Resistance 3 teaser (I'm thinking they'll save the Killzone 3 announcement for next year to give it a slightly longer cycle)
- a Move showcase of games
- a possible PS2 montage before announcing it's discontinuation after a 10 year cycle
- GT 5 will be shown and announced it's getting released soon after E3
- Dead Rising 2 shown off
- Final Fantasy XIV, or DC Online beta announced
- possibly like Pandamar suggested, a PSP 2 or upgrade announcement
- an updated, nearly finalized playthru of Last Guardian
- Starhawk
- More of Modnation shown off
- The Agency shown off

The shocker being the new Twisted Metal. Which is something we've all been hoping for, but $10 says if it's announced near the end of E3 we'll have waves of whiners saying, "That's it? Why Twisted Metal? Why not bring back another obscure game like (insert random crap x)".

I'm also guessing atleast one new genuine surprise of a game. Whether that be something going multiplat like MS liked to do a few years ago, or just a game we've heard nothing about I don't know. As for MG Rising, my guess is MS will showcase that one, they're too proud about getting MG to go to the 360 to not be the ones to show it off like it's theirs. I do like the Everquest 3 idea as well, but I'd save that for next year personally. We already have a big stream of MMO's hitting the PS3 this year, no reason to add more to it.

what about the PSP phone runnours you think that they will announce it at this year's E3? or the PSP Pad?

No. There won't be a Playstation branded phone anytime soon.

Oh another prediction....
RELEASE DATE FOR DC UNIVERSE!!!!!!!

inFamous 2
A new version of the PSP{seems like they come out with a new one every year, same with the DS}.

I dont think a new version of the PSP, as much as their next handheld. The PSP is on its last legs...its time for an upgrade

It wouldn't surprise me if they just ditched the PSP all together now, maybe just left the system out there with people making new games on a more relaxed schedule.

Asides from the PSP Go completely bombing for various reasons, the PSP is overall successful. It sells more than the Nintendo DS in Japan on a regular basis (unless a new DS model comes out). And in my opinion has a much better games line up than the Nintendo DS.

Sony just needs to find a way to combat the piracy that plagues the PSP. If they can fix that, third party developers would hop on board much more easily with original titles like Konami, Square-Enix, Sony, Rockstar, and Capcom have.

yeah they Sony needs to step it up with the PSP there was a interesting artilce about the PSP in Game Informer Either ditch the PSP or have a new version of the PSP that can atleast compete with the Itouch and DS

Hippie is right. Sony has done what no other handheld console developer has been capable of doing and thats penetrate Nintendo's hold on the market. The PSP is a relative success. It would be foolish of Sony to just abandon it consider how hard it was to break into the handheld business and actually manage to stay afloat. The PSP put them in a good position for them to make better choices with its successor

This is just me personally, but I'd rather they release 1 PSP generation for every actual Playstation generation from now on. Even tho I haven't been big on the games that come out for it, to say I haven't found good use for my PSP would be a lie.

I use it in games like Assassin's Creed 2 to find all of the feathers using it's internet capabilities to look things like city maps up while I'm playing my PS3. I use it to store my PS3's data as a backup if anything every happens (mainly my saves). I of course use it to listen to music, and sometimes watch movies. I've also downloaded a few games from the PS Store.

However the main thing I want it to do is something that gets neglected, and that's it's ability to sync and do things with the PS3. Remote play is nice, but I want more game related features. I had a GBA and Gamecube, and was psyched about it's connectivity, but it was crap. The PS3 and PSP combo actual made it work, but isn't doing anything with it. I'd like to see a PSP2 get launched alongside the PS4, and see them made to complement eachother. To see more things like Assassin's Creed 2 connecting to the PSP Assassin's Creed, or things like the rumored PSP as a back mirror that never happened (ok, maybe not that last one as holding a PSP up like that would be a pain in the ass, but something like that).

A PS4 wont be released anywhere in the near future. Possibly not for at least another 3 years. It would be foolish to wait that long for another handheld. The PSP is an aging handheld and will pretty much be dead by then. It came out in 2005 and I really cant see them dragging it out till at least 2013

IA on the connectivity. Im disappointed that Sony dropped the ball on that bc the few games that did feature it, I thought were done well, especially the Resistance games.

I really don't see the iPod Touch/iPhone/iPad as a legitimate competitor to the PlayStation Portable or Nintendo DS on the simple fact that people don't buy those machines to play games. They buy them for the ability to play music, movies, and other apps.

Sure, games are doing very well on the Apple media devices but that's because people who already own Apple's portable media devices see something that they find intriguing when browsing through iTunes and they're very cheap to boot. And because they're incredibly cheap to develop developers and publishers are going to invest more in iPod Touch/iPhone/iPad games.

But take a look at what games sell the best on iTunes. EA's Hasbro games (Monopoly, Scrabble, Clue), PopCap games (Bejeweled, Peggle, Plants vs. Zombies), and in the end completely casual games.

People are not going to buy Apple's portable media devices for these games. And they're not going to buy them for Metal Gear Solid Touch, Crystal Defenders, Street Fighter IV, and Assassins Creed. And gamers aren't going to buy them for games. Gamers are going to buy them for the same reason that everyone else buys them (to pretty much do anything related to media)

It's great that developers are making money off of this, more money for the industry is always better for the gamer. But in the end the market and the desires of Apple's portable media devices is very different from the market and desires of Sony and Nintendo's handheld gaming devices where people buy their devices to specifically play video games. No matter what Apple or the media say, it cannot be a legitimate competitor to Sony and Nintendo unless the Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Portable 2 offer movies, music, and apps beyond just a browser, clock, and calculator; or if Apple offers a gaming device that can play games that are on par with the releases of Nintendo and Sonys' handheld gaming devices:

So it looks like we can see a conference starting to take shape around here.

Electro UK's Sony E3 prediction!

- Firstly, to keep the PSP happy, we'll see a God of War: Ghost of Sparta. The inevitable games montage trailer will rely heavily on this and Valkyria 2 to make sure we all know there's still something coming out for the system. Maybe a Resident Evil game update wouldn't hurt either.

- Plus, High Impact Games has been pretty hush hush since Jak and Daxter, they could have either a new Ratchet/Clank or even another Jak waiting for us.

- There'll be the usual 5 boring minutes of PS2 talk, with the usual montage of Rock Band and Guitar Hero games, smattered with PSP ports like Syphon Filter: Logan's Shadow.

- For PSN, we'll get another "Hey look at this new Home space!" section, an some figure about how many games are set to release on the service this year, despite the fact most of them will be terrible.

- Moving onto the big guns, it strikes me that LittleBigPlanet 2 will make an early appearance, possibly doing what it did 2 years ago with the sale projections. Perhaps the first, or new trailer will follow.

- A multiplatform game walkthrough... maybe Rage? Probably something set for Christmas, LA Noire perhaps.

- SCE Online finally pull their thumb out and give us a demo of either DC Universe or The Agency.

- The Last Guardian demo set with release date

- CG trailers for MotorStorm 3 and inFamous 2

- Closing out the show with a Resistance 3 demo

- One of the above has Move support... we'll see how that works out.

That's what I reckon anyway. We could still see Agent, Killzone 3, Eat Sleep Play's game (that's not supposed to be there) whatever Incognito have been doing... but we've still got TGS and Gamescomm to go, let's not put all our eggs in one basket.

Oh and now

Electro's things he wants a E3 but won't get! list

- High Impact Games? Bring Jak to PS3 please!

- SEGA? Bring Yakuza 4/Yakuza PSP to the West please!

- PSP games start comming to PSN: Peace Walker, Chains of Olympus, Resistance: Retribution lead the way with online/splitscreen and HD enhancements.

- PS2 games to PSN too. A guy can dream :(

- Demon's Souls 2! It sold well, show me more.

- Mass Effect 1 and 2! PLEASE! :(

Not sure how far along they are with LBP2, but it would be cool to see them do a presentation with that like they did with the last game

My "probably won't happen, but hope it will" list.

PS2 to PSN. The time is just right. Announce the PS2 production is ending and games will be put on PSN.

Mass Effect 1-3. We have all heard the rumors. Would be cool for them to come true.

Some sort of Uncharted 3 tease. This is probably the more likely of the three. Just show us something, anything.

You know, I stumbled across some photos of an alleged super-secret list of games that will be shown/announced/talked about at E3. Under the Sony column was "The Mass Effect Collection".

There are a few things that point to the list possibly being accurate (one of them being Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. These photos were leaked before that title was.) Unfortunately, there are several things that point to it being false, one such thing is Mass Effect 3 which was listed under Sony ...as an exclusive.
