For some reason, I can't really picture Nintendo with a GTA game, mainly because they've always been the family friendly company.

Rockstar is still making an exclusive game for the PS3, so if anything that would show up before GTA V.

I seriously hope they don't say the NGP will be above 250. Gamers interested in hand helds don't like paying console prices...

GTA was on the DS. I do think Nintendo is going to try to capture a more broad audience with this system, so I wouldn't be surprised.

Yeah, Nintendo grabbed the family with the Wii... IMHO they don't have to try to get them. They'll either continue to support the Wii for them OR those family gamers move over to this due to loving the Wii so much.

This thing, IMHO will be aimed more at the hardcore.

I once again agree with Sessler, the NGP HAS to be under 300 bucks to hit a stride early. People are NOT going to spend that kind of money on a hand held. They just won't.

All Nintendo really needs to do is get the system to the point where all 3rd party games like MW3 and Battlefield and Assassin's Creed can be ported exactly to their console, and then keep putting out Mario and Zelda games.

We've seen the power that Nintendo first part games have over the market, take that and let the core gamer play his COD games and you have a winner.

One thing that Sony can do to steal the show to all press conferences (expect nintendo) is to announce a price cut (which i really believe) and have someone big like Gabe Newell on stage.

Oh it is. It's a big reason why 3DS is still setting on shelves... I guess no worthwhile games help but seriously... if the thing was 189.99 they'd be hard(er?) to get.
