Like how the PSP was supposed to kill the DS? Hmmm...slap sexy graphics, new features, and the like all you want, but if Sony burns out on the games for their handheld again, I'm done with Sony portables. I'll give the Vita a chance, but this is it for me.

It's already a more powerful system than the 3DS and it has a price which makes it affordable, you add all the developers working on games for the handheld and this system is gonna be a monster.

One thing I hope in the new system is a trophy/achievement system. I find myself putting off certain games unless I get awarded with something, even if I don't get anything in return.

The PSP did ALOT better than any other non-Nintendo handheld. It did what others failed and that was penetrate the handheld market which previously was completely dominated by Nintendo with virtually no real competition.

So another Mario Kart. How many old SNES games are we gonna see get a 3DS entry today?

Yeah, I'm in the same boat more or less. I like them enough that I don't mind playing them, but the dogma surrounding them has always baffled me. People are just ridiculous when it comes to anyone not gushing all their love at the franchise.

Mario Kart DS was the best MK, so taking that and just making it better is already a huge plus for me.
