The Dark Knight Rises Easter Eggs in DKR

Um no.

I don't know if its an Easter egg but the burning bay symbol is right out of TDK's poster

What was that reference like more in detail?

I believe when John Blake went to talk to Bruce Wayne at the mansion he mentions men in the underground sewer system. Bruce says "Should you be telling this to your officers?" or something like that and Blake replies with "They said its overrun with giant alligators/crocodiles." I know that's not the exact dialogue, but I'm pretty sure that's where the Croc reference is at.

Ah OK cool! :D I would never expect Nolan to make a reference to Killer Croc out of all villains out there.

I thought that was more a reference to the old urban myth that kids were getting baby alligators as pets, then flushed them down the toilets, so the sewers of certain big cities were overran with them.

Almost forgot, the "What are you?" guy? His name is Daggett. I'm pretty sure this was a reference to the Animated Series character.

Ok...this isn't an Easter Egg, but did anyone notice they said there were 12 million people in Gotham?

Weren't there 30 million people in TDK?

- Gordon's wife and kids moving to Cleveland (Chicago in the comics)
- Holly per-say
- Bane Of The Demon
- Bruce's ghost Liam Ra's saying a line that Wattannabe Ra's said in Begins
- Blake's father getting shot in a gambling scam ala Tim Drake's birth father.
- Blake deducing Batman's identity sort of like Tim Drake

A few more nods to Batman Begins:

- Wayne seeing Gordon at the hospital in his black mask
- Batman giving Blake the little bomb that he used at Arkham Asylum in the first film

Scarecrow!

Is there anything after the credits tho...

When the little kid Blake's talking to mentions how there's more work in the sewers than above ground, it immediately made me think of the Sewer King episode of BTAS. Most likely not actually a nod and just a coincidence, but it still immediately reminded me of it

Yes. After the credits the screen shows the rubble/destruction in Gotham. The camera shows someone step out of the fog, you only see his shoe step down. He bends down and grabs a batarang that was just laying there. He takes a sigh and stands up again and you see it's Liam Neeson as Ra's Al Ghul. He then says "I should have known that to conquer fear you must alley with an agent of chaos..."

He then turns around and faces the camera and continues "Together, let us break the Bat." Then you see out of the fog Adrian Brody as The Joker steps out, holds his card up then laughs before quickly throwing his card towards the screen.

i knew it

John Dagget=Roland Dagget from BTAS.

The straw in Scarecrow.

Anyone else notice when he first turns on the batwing in the alley that it looks like the white eyes from the 90's show?

Bane breaking Batman's back.... holy mama I jumped when that happened. My friends gave me a "WTF" look, but I don't care. It was a total nerd-out moment :woot:

This may be reaching, but the part where that guy says he decided Wayne's return was a bad thing by flipping a coin.

Although this isn't really a Batman easer egg and maybe I'm wrong about this. But, every time I see that kid and the apple the thought that instantly comes to mind is 'Aladdin'! Not Aladdin just a slight orphan nod by how that scene plays out. Part of me wonders if that might have been a slight nod or not at all intentional. Just that always comes to my mind, especially with more focus on Bruce as an orphaned hero, but it might just be due to me linking Aladdin to orphanhood as well. Also 'bastard' is a derogatory term the thugs call him that might mean he is an orphan and from the orphanage. Orphan with an apple and thugs chasing him? As said might be intentional or not to have had that scene play out that way.
