I like the cover for it's simplicity. Besides, they put stuff inside the covers, too.

Agreed.

The cover art, is by far the least interesting thing about the whole process. Im hoping for some in game screen shots.

Looking forward to a glimpse of a in-game pics rendered by the new engine.

Yea i really cant wait to see it in motion. Fallout and Oblivion dont look that bad still, but when the characters are moving around, eh not so much.

Bethesda already confirmed that there's 20+ screenshots, which, obiviously, is a great thing.

Not yet. Subscribers are Supposed to get them around the tenth.

Yeah, nevermind. I'm checking out some scans right now.

I'm gonna check my mail on the way home from work. Hopefully it's there, although I doubt it.

When Bethesda said they were working on a new engine, they weren´t kidding.
It look phenomenal...those are PC screens of course

Alright, I didn't read the whole article (I want to save something for when I actually have the magazine in my hands) but based on what I did read and on the screens, Skyrim is going to be incredible.

Niiiice. Would have liked to have seen some faces but a good first peek.

Wow...just...wow.

Skyrim looks to be turning into this decades Oblivion. :awesome:

Then they will use this engine 3 more times till it's outdated and then make a new one. Good ol' reliable Bethesda.

They beefed up the engine considerably, but the real test for me is how it looks in motion. Bethesda has historically been... let's be charitable and say "somewhat awkward" with its animations in every game I've seen from them. Not hugely encouraging to see such a familiar first-person interface, either. I hope they've done something to make the combat more interesting.

But it does look very pretty. The wolves and dragons look really cool.

It's a new engine, isn't it? Atleast, that was the key thing I had heard.

I think I'm gonna need to get significant upgrades for my PC.

We are of like minds on this.

You get a bunch of special powers because you're a Dragonborn. Combat is more tactical. You can also dual wield now. Not just with weapons, but with magic as well. You can go weapon and shield, weapon and weapon, weapon and magic, magic and magic, and if your two spells are the same they will combine to be even more powerful. Now the real question, can you dual wield bows? Or shields? If so, GOTY 2011 for sure.

Yeah, new engine they developed internally.

Which is very nice. The old engine, even though it's still used in other games, is overstaying it's welcome.

I feel like it's something Rob Liefeld must've already drawn. We must find it and bring it to light...

Looks great but we'll see how it turns out in motion.
