I think Uninspired Cup needs to visit an Eye Doctor. The new stills are above the Oblivion models.

My decision to play as an Orc this time has been validated.![]()
Your bifocals need adjustment. The images looks vastly different. The ones soapy posted look far better than what u posted.
I ALWAYS thought Oblivion character models looked like garbage. Complaining about the Skyrim models is nothing more than trolling now. Seriously.
It seems everytime I make a valid point and attempt to back it up, I basically get called a troll or people give a childish "you are wrong reply" with nothing to back it up.

Also, it seems you aren't even comprehending what is being said and are simply jumping the gun with rather silly knee jerk replies.
you're just saying "No, it's not better."
In fact he said they were about the same as Oblivion's.
2. They clearly look better than Oblivion default models
Simply fantastic. Though, I'll still be playing as a Nord first.![]()

At no point did I say that.
Or this ^
I'm not going to bother re-explaining again as it impossible to explain any clearer.
Not really all that much diffrence.
Not at all, it's clearly just a faster option to get to somewhere for a quest if you don't feel like riding for about 40 minutes to get across the map. RDR had exactly the same feature and the lack of that option is something that has been complained about a lot in Bethesda games.
Source“We don’t know where it’s going to end up. There were things with the Oblivion horses- we like having them, but there are certain things… they weren’t the greatest implementation of horses. And now you see games come out like Red Dead, you know, there are more horses in games that we feel like just the basic implementation we did in Oblivion isn’t going to be good enough. So, we are currently attempting things with that and we don’t know where it’s going to end up.
“A world without them feels a little weird, without seeing them… So, we definitely want to have them… we don’t know yet what you’re going to be able to do with them, and to what level.”

1. I am not complaining about the models, at no point in my post do I say or indicate they are bad.
2. They clearly look better than Oblivion default models. At no point in my post do I argue against that. The pictures taken however, simply aren't fair. If you zoom into a texture, including bump mapping/parallax mapping e.t.c... it becomes worse, that's how textures work in all games.
3. That is a custom model, not the default model thus the argument "Bethesda's presentation" as that isn't Bethesda's presentation, it's someone else modified what is being displayed on the engine.
Flash Facts said:I"m not saying that there will not be mounts, just that assuming they are a given may result in disappointment.
The new info seems great, especially the way it is detailed here:Gamespot Preveiw
Be aware it is spoiler filled as it is basically a recount of the entire mission.
I'm really looking forward to seeing the combat and magic in action.
