I say the CGI is fine. The problem is the oddly human face. His movement, clothes and body look great.

Every time I look at images of the beast or trailers for this film I can't help but ask myself why couldn't they have just used prosthetics? Why did the beast have to look exactly how you'd think a subpar live action 2017 beauty and the beast film would look? And why does he have to already look pretty? I'm hoping this film is much better than I think it will be, because I'm expecting an okay-ish film at best that the general public will eat right up and call "fantastic!"

He looks too human, and that's my problem. I don't want Rick Baker werewolf makeup type scary, but I want him to look like an actual "Beast", not just a dude with an under-bite and a furry face. I will not allow it to ruin my experience in the film itself, and I am hopeful that after I sit down and watch it, that it won't bother me as much.

She sounded pretty good. Not great, or amazing, but good. I think she'll end up doing a good job with the singing parts in the film, and knocking it out of the park in all of the other departments. I am so sold on this.

Exactly. The singing in the clip sounds fine to me and If if IS auto-tuned then it's so gently applied that it's barely noticeable. To me, that's a good sign.

The word you're looking for is "hyperbole". Also, when youre being hyperbolic its not always obvious on a forum. I cant see your face and hear the tone of your voice.
