Yes, and this one isn't. Why would Disney want another 30 mins of runtime just to have another 30 mins of runtime? It doesn't help the box office. It is a creative decision. Whether it is a good one, we shall see. But there is no real reason to think they didn't structure the film accordingly.

i love emma's singing there, i like that the townspeople outfits like in the original don't stand out as much as belle's does (Blue vs the rest of the town wearing greens, reds, brownish yellows etc)

keeps that visual theme from the original where belle is a bit of an outcast, then meets beast, another social outcast also wears blue

The poster said they didn't know anyone excited for the film. Using anecdotal evidence that perhaps people aren't excited about this. That people aren't enjoying the footage. I am pointing out that isn't the case.

Cash grabs is the only thing Disney is making these days, and sadly they have a great success with it. But if that what people wants, so be it.

Well the positive ratio yesterday was 1208:1. So yeah, it seems to be going well.

Cash grabs is the only thing Disney is making these days, and sadly they have a great success with it. But if that what people wants, so be it.

You know, most big budget movies are made to "make money". This looks like they did something truly special, with their most iconic and beloved film in the history of Disney. Some people just tend to live life being more cynical than others.
