Does Emma sing any of the songs?
Which Emma? ;)

According to wikipedia's listings on the soundtrack, Emma Watson sings in "Belle", "Belle (Reprise)", "Days in the Sun", "Something There", "How Does a Moment Last Forever (Montmartre)"

Emma Thompson sings in "Be Our Guest", "Days in the Sun", "Something There", "Beauty and the Beast", "The Mob Song", "Beauty and the Beast (Finale)"

Dammit, I said I was going to wait until seeing it but I couldn't resist listening to Be Our Guest. Ewan's accent is iffy in some places but he sounds fantastic and really gives it his all, so I think it can be easily overlooked.

Yeah, it's iffy in some places but one thing I noticed is that - after having a hard time telling that it's Ewan's voice in the trailers and tv spots (which is possibly just me), I can *finally* hear/tell that it's Ewan's voice when listening to BOG.

Just a reminder (for those interested), the soundtrack comes out today. The official DisneyMusicVEVO channel has all the songs from the standard 1 disc release up as well as a few of the demo songs. Since they didn't upload them in order I've created a playlist (of the official uploads) of the songs in order of track listing:

https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLzp4QZQVLWhduDjC-Yps3WNjU9QF8GQmB

I'm still in the process of listening to it, but so far.. I like what I hear :)

And no sign of the Trailer version of Tale as old as Time...that worries me a bit.
I really...really want that version.

Anyway...
So far this all sounds very good, i like the songs and all.
Of course it doesnt come close to the orginal because those versions are...well the original, i have a whole different regard to them.
But the new versions dont have to hide behind them, they are fantastic on their won imo.

I'm just gonna live with the probable fact it was just a special recording for the trailer only.

Listened to most of the songs. Everything seems to be slightly slower in this film than the animated version.

And for any of you doubters, listen to Emma's voice next to most of the other singers on the tracks and you'll hear that robotic auto tune.

Emma Thomson - perfect. Angela Lansbury can proud!:hrt:

And finally. I so happy that at ending of movie we hear SAME CHOIR! Chills.:hmr:

I've listened to the soundtrack a few times through now. Emma sounds fine to me/auto tune doesn't seem that obvious to me

I love the new "nothing left to say" verse from Emma Thompson in final Beauty and the Beast song with Choir.

And Audra McDonald singing so beautiful main theme too.

And this Choir. Gives me chills like in original.

The pitch correction is very apparent to me in the song Belle, but she sounds much more natural in Something There and the Belle Reprise.

It's there. Listen to her voice in Belle next to the other people singing. When she hits longer notes, it hits an almost robotic tune. It's like her vocals have been heavily processed where as the others haven't. It's not as bad in Something There but it's still there.

The problem I'm having listening to the songs is that they are songs written for powerful singers being sung by people who's voices don't have the power to sing them.

Oh yeah, and the auto tuning on Emma in Belle is noticeable.

Its there for Dan as well, but has not been brought up.

^Haha never mind then, still though, wasn't expecting this sort of range.

I think anyone expecting this to garner the type of reception the original got was probably expecting way too much from this movie.

Evermore is my favorite. Can't stop listening to it.

Because his voice is already played with due to the whole "Beast" sound. It's the fact that people are saying that Belle "isn't auto tuned" is what's causing people to speak up about her auto tuning more.

For Emma's sake, Celine Dion's voice has been tweaked too. It seems like whoever produced/mixed this album

been listening to the songs. They're different......but I like them.

I'm warming up to Evermore and I like the new Celine Dion song.

LeFou is going to be a riot, and I think Gaston and Be Our Guest will be spectacles to watch.

Emma Watson isn't bad either in her singing.

the only voice I'm having a hard time getting used to is Luke Evans'.

guess I'm so used to a lower/deeper voiced Gaston........lol.

I'm not loving the songs ... Especially the ones with Emma Watson. She sounds borderline awful to me.

... :(
