Did you even bother to read my post? Claire recording herself is the opposite of what she's been doing since her first scene, which is why that was such a stupid way to start her arc, because it's a complete 180 from what she's been doing since. Yes, teenagers are moody. In fact, being 21 myself, I know exactly what it's like to feel different, as does everyone else, I'm sure.
If your sole defining trait is "Why can't I be normal?" can you see how keeping evidence of yourself being paranormal would be an idiotic mistake? And she has progressed since then, particularly with the accident scenes, but out of all the Powers, she's progressed the least, and now she seems to be being set up as a victim. Save the Cheerleader. Save the World. It seems to me, because of the inherent nature of her abilities, she's one of the most capable of handling herself, which is why her near-constant characterization as hopeless and helpless distances her from being a real person.
As for Niki's character, if there were more scenes where "Jessica" didn't take over, there'd be more of her character to follow. So far, we've seen her stripping, acting scared, dumping her problems on other people, and running away from said problems. While most of those are natural inclinations given each situation, they still don't add up to much. I don't care for Niki, but I do think "Jessica" has potential, albeit as a villain, or at least, a non-hero.
I never claimed to hate good characters or solid storytelling, and I'm not sure what your personal connection to Heroes is, but it is just a show. Not a way of life. It is generally well-written, and exceedingly entertaining, and I do associate with some of the characters: Hiro, as do most people on these boards, and Peter in particular, but just because I don't throw myself 100% into every character is no reason to accuse me of hating a good show. If you're into the scenes with Claire and Niki, that's your perogative, but I, frankly, don't care for their characters, and that's my perogative.
