Episode 11 - "Fallout" - Discussion Thread

I have to side with Psy-Cop on this one....I wouldn't wanna be a chump neither.

That episode was awesome. Few things:

The last scene, a few things. I am not sure if that was a true vision, the clothing of the characters seems off for this to take place in the next few weeks (in Heroes time). That being said note that everyone in New York appears to have been evacuated, maybe the Heroes do save the day, even though the bomb still goes off. I am still not sure if Peter why Claire wouldn't be able to save Peter, that has to be the meaning to "Save the Cheerleader, Save the World"

I am still not digging the DL/Micah/Niki/Jessica subplot - though with Nikki/Jessica gone for a little while it should help.

Seems Mohinder will get off his ass and finally serve a true purpose. Thats good, I liked him until he became a big pansy after Nathan didn't listen to him.

I wonder how Claire is going to react to her knowledge that her father isn't what he seems.

Damn, this show is just so good.

^ Amen to that...not to mention his wife is kinda fugly.

As for the whole Episode...WTF?!?!

I firmly support him having a Johnny "Deadzone" Smith type vision. Where Peter is in the role of Ted.

I really side with the dad
I mean I would protect her at all cost

hes not that bad

That was kind of confusing though cause Nathan just walked up to him slowly like nothing was wrong. It seemed like the only one who noticed him was Claire and Nathan, and Issac was there. Isn't he supposed to be dead by before the bomb goes off. OMG ALL THE QUESTIONS THAT NEED TO BE ANSWERED!!!!

Issac was there, he grabbed Simone remember??

I agree...that would be the good guy in Nathan taking forefront. :woot:

Yeah I know I said that lol, but im saying when Hiro went to the future Issac was dead before the bomb went off, and he was in his apartment.

But now she knows that there's someone out there looking to kill her. And with Sylar probably back on the loose, she'd be in even more danger that she wouldn't have known about if Haitian had actually gone through with the mind wipe.

Yeah, but things have changed since then.

True. Of course it's because he doesn't trust anyone. My thing is why wipe Claire...it's not like she wouldn't find out agian next time she cuts herself shaving or smomething.

My thing is: Haitian= good or bad???

hehe claire shaving....

haitian is good i'm guessing..like someone said claire's dad is just doing things wrong. so the haitian and eden took step.

I think he is a good guy. With Eden dead and with HRG not knowing the Haitian isn't on his side he really doesn't have anyone. When he spoke though that was a shocking thing (even though it shouldn't lol) I was like "holy crap the guy can talk!"

yeah, but now the thing is, is Big H flipping on Mr. Bennett because Bennett is making this whole thing personal now or what? Cause Bennett still strikes me as one of the good guys...

i dont link the haitian now
and I think pete is adapting to the powers
so now his body can keep little bits of the powers

When does Heroes come back on? Things just keep getting better with this show. The only complaint I have is DL/Micah/Nikki/Jessica need to be integrated into the main story and quick. Loved Hiro saying "I need to find that sword." Cool to see Issac is finally learning to use his ability without the drugs.

So did I get this right or not. Let me get this straight, so the haitian is NOT bad? And WTF happened to Peter? He never came in contact with the "implosion" guy from earlier episodes, I always thought that he was gonna be the bomb. Guys, Nathan is a f'n *****e bag! "Well, I do what I always do save your arse from embarrasing me and my ability to run for office." says Nathan Petrelli. WTF!?

Well then..maybe there both good. You can tell they both have the same motives, but different ways of approching them. Reguardless there isn't much HRG can do once he finds out the Haitian didn't really mindwipe her.

Well, I'm sure if it wouldn't have been as shocking if Eden didn't say he was mute. She should have taken the Haitian with her to see Sylar though.

Man why did I have to miss this because of class tonight.

You can watch on nbc.com if im not mistaken

I'm just saying we've seen him so much w/o talking. It was cool and kinda funny to finally hear him.

Maybe he does like Peter away. Remember in that trailer for the upcoming eps Nathan says something like, "lets see how fast I can go" maybe that is refering to him flying Peter away, but then again all they need to do is put a bullet in his brain if Claire isn't around him.

But the problem is they wouldnt know what killing him might do. Maybe killing him would set off the bomb. I wonder what the significance was of Sylar being in Peter's dream?

Seems like they have a greater mission but Mr. Bennet is pushing his own agenda. At least that's why i think the Haitian is defecting.

As much as I like Hiro and Peter and other characters, Matt Parkman is quickly becoming my favorite Hero. That scene where he was trying to read Peter's mind was neat, and I liked in Pete's dream how he was shown in his police outfit ushering the other heroes out of there.
He just seems like kind of the "everyman". Maybe I'm being cliche here. Either way, Yeah Parkman! Don't go back to your wife!

Well either Peter is the bomb or he was experiencing what happens in Ted's body. But for now he's in a coma because his system was overloaded from all those powers. As for Nathan being an ass...did we expect anything less?
