Arrow is back! I thought this one was pretty good, considering they had several plot threads addressed without it seeming too over loaded. It was good to see The Huntress again. I'll admit I haven't read the comics since the 90's,but I don't remember her being so bloodthirsty. She worked alongside Batman & Robin!

I liked the tribute to her comic costume. The island stuff was nothing special, but it was good set up I suppose. The fight between Arrow and Huntress at the end earned it an extra point from me,so 9/10.

Good return episode after the break.

I do wish that the huntress ditched the crossbow entirely and went back to firearms because she rejected what Oliver tried to teach her. Once her character comes around to being an ally then she should pick it up again. I mean when she picked up that shotgun she looked pretty badass.

Glad the show is back.

Huntress is really damn annoying. I was really wanting Ollie to put an arrow in her. Even more after she shot his lady cop friend. Liked her character a lot, and it sucks she's gone now.

Roy's pretty awful too. Not looking forward to seeing him in every episode next season. And that little fight with him. Usually I absolutely love the fights on the show, but I rolled my eyes when he did that little wall spin while helping Thea from those thugs.

Good episode, lot of plot in it. I'm torn about the Huntress, I've seen this side of her before (see: JLU episode Double Date) but she snapped basically in this episode. Not cool, IGN really hates this version of her.

The other stuff was good set up for the end of season 1. Can't wait to see where it leads.

8/10

Thanks for the spoils. :csad:

You're welcome for coming into a thread with the sole purpose of discussing an episode you haven't seen yet. :o:oldrazz:

Huntress' actress was somewhat better this time around, but still damn bad when she was threatening Tommy's life.

Huntress just sucks on this show. If she didn't have the moniker of such an iconic DCU character, I don't think anyone would be wanting to see her again.

It's a little early to tell, but I think the same may go for Roy as well.

The Huntress returns and she was better this time around just as Oliver was settling in his police girlfriend, McKenna. They continue the Lance family concerning Sarah and Thea tries to get Roy a job at Oliver's club. Also, we see the effect that Oliver's secret has on Tommy. Slade continues to be an awesome character in the flashbacks.

Put together these episodes - Muse of Fire, Vendetta, and Huntress Returns - and you'd have a Green Arrow/ Huntress movie.

Diggle, Felicity, and Moira weren't used much as Oliver is in denial of his conflicted feelings with Helena. Basically Helena got to meet Oliver's family, which was a reverse of Muse of Fire and Vendetta where Oliver met Helena's father. She still is after her father, regardless of who's in her way. I wonder how the Starling City police know that Helena is Huntress. Good return episode to start off the final batch of episodes for the 1st season.

Well its not like the disguise is that effective :o

Well neither is Oliver's.

If anything, Helena served her purpose in shattering Oliver's love life.

His is a lot better considering all you see is his chin at most when up close. Security footage of just her in the domino mask makes it quite obvious.

The stupid thing was how she wasn't wearing the mask when she killed the lawyer on camera.
That's how they got her dead to rights.

Liked diggle's line about if she looked like him instead of the t-mobile girl Ollie would of killed her by now.

Slade continues to be badass.

Cool seeing Green Arrow deliver the get out of my city line.

I'll admit, the wall spin from Roy was a bit much.

Huntress is the pit's.Please don't bring her back.

The writers producers want you to hate someone....and you do.
Like clockwork.

Maybe Question comes to town in season 2 and brings Huntress back down to Earth? Heh. :o I would like to see a relationship between the two like in the comics/JLU.

Good return ep last night I thought. Interestingly enough though this is the third episode with Huntress that didn't do so well ratings wise. The show was down 10%.

Dig's T-Mobile line was the best. And Roy's wall spin had me laughing.

I thought it was funny how Slade is more likeable than Roy or Helen on this show.

Man, psycho chicks still creep me out entirely. They have to do something drastic to redeem the character, because I was rooting for Oliver to put an arrow in her pretty face. It's one thing to kill a bunch of mobsters, but now she is taking down everyone in her way. Cops, civilians, doesn't matter as long as she accomplishes her goal.

Am I the only one who loves Helena... I mean she was really good and totally made this episode worth watching!

The problem is she's a psycho b**ch who doesn't give a damn about anything. To me, she's really unlikable. I don't mind her being lost and a little more dangerous than Oliver, but she went way, way too far.

It's because of daddy issues, man. :csad:

Fathers, do right by your daughters and don't give them issues... unless they're issues of comics! :awesome:

I loved the Huntress in this episode and the comic costume at the begining of the episode was really good. And to be really honest Arrow buged me this episode. When Laurel was kidnapped, he went his way killing every security guard on the house she was kept and didn't have a problem with that. Huntress just wants her father, if she had killed him already, she would stop, but because he tries to stop her from killing him she's killing much more people....

And I think in the next episode she appears she will call herself Huntress, I mean, when detective Lance said "Or I should call you Huntress" she gave that smile like she liked the name....

The writers are going to have to work hard to redeem The Huntress as a character.

Guards, who probably weren't working for a big security company, with a shoot on sight order and who worked for a known killer.

Huntress just wants her father, if she had killed him already, she would stop, but because he tries to stop her from killing him she's killing much more people....

But he did try to help her. Once he knew that her father was under constant surveillance, there was no way to get close to him without hurting tons of cops. And he was hoping she'd realize how futile it was.

And I think in the next episode she appears she will call herself Huntress, I mean, when detective Lance said "Or I should call you Huntress" she gave that smile like she liked the name....

I hope it'll be a while till we see her again. She needs to do some serious soul searching, to convince us that Oliver shouldn't try to shoot her again.
