Escape from New York (Remake) - Part 1

Yeah. I mean, Hunnam is a better choice than Gerard Butler was, but I still don't think he's that good of a fit for this.

How about Kurt Russell? Can't think of a better choice.

Hmmm... I don't know. I can't see him as anything than a Disney kid, honestly.

^ :woot:

How about a remake of "The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes", starring Charlie Hunnam?:woot:

Seriously, unless they get a good director behind it, with amazing visuals and hook, this reads bomb.

Hunnam just comes off as a jock *****e when he's trying to be a badass. At least Butler (And Statham and Hardy) is good at being laconic.

Jason would be a good choice. Never really thought of that. He has that "look".

Kurt Russell for Snake.

I agree to this, but sadly I think the studio won't.

As for a new Snake, I wouldn't mind someone like Garrett Hedlund or even Boyd Holbrook. Those two stars are on the rise and could be well suited if Fox are going down the franchise route.

Dan Stevens is actually is a pretty good name off the shortlist rumored a while back.

I'm all for more Snake, even when played by a different actor, but I didn't want a remake of the Escape from New York storyline.:down

Besides, they already remade Escape from New York and called it Escape from L.A.

^ That was a sequel, just a poor one.
