I'm guessing she is working for Cross during the start. Then she ends up on Team Pym/Lang when Cross attempts to take down her father.

We saw what looked like Hope having dinner with Darren Cross. Hope might be getting close to him to get information.

True. Plus the whole "relationship with a father" thing has been done A LOT in CBM, whereas a husband/wife superhero team has not. Heck apparently playing a mom in a CBM is a pretty short-term gig. You're either dead, completely unimportant, or both. Look no further than IM's parents. Howard Stark is popping up all over the place and is mentioned a lot. Poor Maria, on the other hand, is barely an afterthought.

That would be way to weird. I think its more likely that she is maybe working for cross at the start, and then changes later (We've seen pictures of her in the 'glass' lab with that hair) then the more 'ruffled' hair working out later in a dungeon.

On the side of Darren Cross whom she colluded with to wrestle control of Pym Technologies from her father. Later on in the film she switches sides and teams up with her estranged father and Lang to take Cross down and steal his suit.

A theory I've seen is that she does indeed become the Wasp (perhaps in the climax or just in a future movie) by using Cross' Yellowjacket suit or a modified version of it (or possibly a prototype). The fact that it has wings and stingers is interesting.
