I know what you mean by "different". Every time I have a dream about Hell there's a vividness and an abnormal level of sophistacation. Creeps me out.

I think Occam's Razor probably applies here. 99.9% of the time, dreams are just electrical storms of images and sounds. People who enjoy comic books/sci-fi/horror/fantasy are prone to having the creative side of the brain run wild while they are sleeping.

However, I don't rule out the remote possibilty that this could be something of a different level. If it continues to bother you, you might consider speaking to a priest or pastor.

I had a dream that chronologically took place. As in I'd sleep, dream, wake up. Sleep, dream would start where it ended, wake up. For about a week. It was freaky. But as for dreams about hell and whatnot, not really.

That's been happening to me also!

A few times, I'd be lost, deep in a dream that had nothing to do with my real life, total fantasy, with crazy characters and scenarios......I'd wake UP.......have a smoke, go downstairs for a glass of water......come back up, go to bed, fall asleep, and punch right back into the dream where I left off!
People don't believe me, or believe me, but don't care, but I think a key to the nature of "dreams" and their significance/non-significance is RIGHT there!

Wouldn't it be trippy if the waking up/smoke/water were part of the dream? lol. But then... that'd mean I dreamt about a week of my life. Which would mean I'm really a week younger than I think I am. Oh jeez. Awesome that I'm not the only one though.

I've had a dream in which I died, and a dream in which Marilyn Manson threatened me, and instead of standing up for myself, I pleaded for my life like a little *****. Never had a dream about Hell or Satan that I can remember though.

I've had a few crazy dreams. What's really weird though is just when anything bad is about to happen the cross on my necklace glows like a star and usually fights it back.
