After reading Campbells book. It seems like it would have been funny to see this when it was in production.

I will never understand this concept. Why do people complain about remakes? There's always a 50/50 chance it'll turn out bad, and it's not like they are replacing the original. The original is still their available for all audiences to see, in fact, more audience is likely to see the original film that is being remade, because they are interested in the remake.

Me. I love thr original for the scares, and II has that weird kinda comedy, kind apsychological factor I love, and then Army of Darkness just makes Ash the best badass ever.

But oddly appreciated the same humor stylings in Raimi's Drag Me to Hell.

both were trash. examples why: McClane fights a JSF, and wins... Indy sucked because they abandoned everything that made Indy great, and included cute furry computer animated animals.


I'm down for ED4. As others have said, they could bring a little more realism into the setting/atmosphere, while maintaining the soapiness of the characters. But I am going to say: NO COMPUTER ANIMATED skeletons and ghouls. It's the props that make these movies awesome to watch.

on the topic, a few years ago, my bro and I went to see ED the stage musical. If you are in anyway a fan of the series, you must see this play. It was much like the play Wednesday and Pugsley put on in the first Adam's Family movie. The songs were great, the humor brilliant. And the gore.... there was a 'spalsh zone' in first few rows of audience. I'm sure the director of the musical took his inspiration from that scene in the Adams Family

Die Hard 4 was fun, but it did not feel like Die Hard at all. It felt like John McClane magically was transported into a different movie.

That´s right, it was not completely a die hard film but it was still a great action film and because i´m not from the states i can´t see the musical, i saw some parts on youtube and that was great, if they puted it on the new york broadway then one of these summers maybe i would be able to see it.

Those are the movies that remind me of Diamonds Are Forever. Those movies don't best represent the series, so I wouldn't show them first to my future kids (obviously). Or might even question them (Where are they so..old?)
