i personally find the scientific theory the correct theory. However, I do believe some parts of the religious theory are also correct..well just one really, Adam and Eve. except I believe Adam and Eve were African and Adam could've beem more than one person and their kids ended up migrating to other places and then their offspring did so and so on and so on..so on.

After having read this entire topic, I am failry certain that VenomFang is out there somewhere lauging his butt off.
He's even contradicted himself several times. He said the Earth can't be more then 6000 years old, and yet he answered questions about hte similarities between Dinosaurs and Birds, but dinosaurs lived millions of years ago so he tacitly accepts this.

On the off chance tha the does believe everything he's saying, VenomFang did you ever stop to consider that maybe the Bible was written in such a way that people would understand it... at the time it was written? You don't have to blindly accept everything in it because you know tones more stuff now then people did 2000 years ago. The Bible isn't any less true, but now we are able to see things in a whole new light.

The bible says that plauges are a sign from God. Most diseases can be prevented, treated, or slowed down with science. Granted even I believe that knowledge had to come from somewhere, but there is a place for faith and a place for science and logic. The two do mix well at all. This thread is proof.

Did it ever occur to you, that God ordained doctor's to be able to cure people?
You know, sometimes the answer is so simple.

Yes, you can pray to God to fill your stomache with food, or you can eat the meal He has put right infront of you.

The things we seek God about are redemption from sin, and the salvation He offers us. We pray for guidance, for revelation, for truth.

As for doctor's healing abilities, yes indeed they are blessings from God, and are to be acknowledged as such. As Jesus said, we have no power on Earth other than what is given from above.
