The Dark Knight Exclusive New TDK Set Report!

Haha except the "acid" looked like it was fruit punch...HD at worst would have had a bad stain on his suit.

Great set report by the way. Enough to nudge me out of lurkdom.

ok, im just gonna say it. anyone kinda dissapointed that WB is starting to "redo" priot bat villians? i dunno, begins at least had villians we never saw, but now joker and 2face, again? man, cmon. i was hopeing for another bat villians, like mad hatter or something.
Isn't that Nolan's decision to "redo" villains and not WB's?

1. Every incarnation of Batman has to have his Joker. Period.

2. Two-Face was done horribly in the last series. This time he will be done justice.

^ True. I was so mad at the way Two-Face was represented in Batman Forever, then they killed him. There were so many missteps made in those two Schumacher films, especially with fan favorites like Mr. Freeze. I vomit blood at the very thought of Arnold in the silver suit. *bleeeech*:csad:

If Harvey Dent does infact switch characters towards the end and kills "someone" in the bar, I hope Nolan makes him shoot the guy twice.

I can say with certainty that he only shoots the guy once. sorry.

No way...what's going to be awesome is to see how he treats these villans differently, just as its cool to see how different writers and artists treat the Joker in the comics. Besides I think Nolan did give us a taste of some new (to screen) villans in BB and he did a great job. Now lets see how he can handle the classics.

Oh God all the terrible schumacherness is coming back to me now. Makes you wonder though, did Batman show up in his full suit to sit in court or smugle it in past security? Hmmmm.

Hey, courtrooms are opn to the public right? LOL! I think that was the same movie that featured a helicoter stealing a bank's entire safe. Ugh....

Hey, NoirMan, I've got a question:
When you were at the filming, and you got a look at Two-Face, were you able to see his mouth? If so, is it in the classic pose (one side open)?

I didn't really see it, but a friend said he saw exposed teeth on the left side. He has no reason to lie, so I'm guessing "yes" is the answer.

With Ra's and Scarecrow, Nolan actually did introduce villains to live action cinema. But The Joker is considered Batman's greatest villain, so that's a no-brainer. And Two-Face is one of Batman's most interesting and tragic villains and there's a strong desire to see his character done right...especially after Batman Forever. If it's any consolation, I don't think Nolan will bring back Poison Ivy or Mr Freeze.

Anyone who would actually rather see Mad Hatter on screen than another appearance for Joker and a proper one for Two-Face is, IMO, a wee bit silly.
Filmmakers can't win. Either characters are being killed off ('Doesn't happen in the comics!') or they're being reused('No originality!'). Sigh.

Madhatter would be cool....But I think Ventriloquist or Clock King is more up nolans alley for the next film.

clock king would S.U.C.K.

The Riddler is def up nolans alley.

Ooh, but I would love to see Tetch in a film oneday. He has a kind of inverted charisma that I think could be really fun and original.

HA!!!! Don't forget the neon lights!!!HA!!....Freeze Well!!

Arnold Schwarzenegger was seriously the least of the worries about the missteps of that film, so was most of the cast actually(it was a well put together cast). It was the writing and directing that made B&R sucked. With good dialogue and direction, Arnold and Clooney could have been good.

I actually thought Uma Thurman gave an even worse performance than Arnold.
