I actually think that's too much also. I say one every two months would be better for the sake of storylines. Plus people will be more willing to pay the current price.

I agree a PPV every two months would be better but theres no way WWE wouldn't hike up the price to compensate in their minds.

Halfway to a new thread unfortunately. The one negative is that the 1K posts limit prevents creative names for threads like these. Because of the 1,000 posts limit, these threads should have more generic names.

Far too many ppvs, If I had to eliminate one Id choose the one between Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania ( Elimination Chamber?).

I'd eliminate Money in the Bank, despite the fact I have said repeatedly after every time the WWE announced a new PPV:

*waits for WWE to announce a Money in the Bank PPV*

I do hate all these ppv however at the same time I wish they bought back King of the Ring.

Still waiting for the WWE to announce "Falls Count Anywhere" PPV.

lol reminds me of that 24hr hardcore title rule they had going a while back.

Out of there current PPV's I'd like to see them scheduled like this

Royal Rumble - January
Wrestlemania - March
Night of Champions - May
Extreme Rules or TLC - June
Money In The Bank - July
SummerSlam - August
Elimination Chamber - September
Survivor Series - November

Which is a realistic schedule

In my perfect world I'd have:

Royal Rumble - Late January
Wrestlemania - Late March
King Of The Ring - Mid May
Money In The Bank - Late June
SummerSlam - Late August
Survivor Series - Late November

And MAYBE The Great American Bash in July. I'm on the fence on that. If I did that I'd move MITB to Mid September.

Elimination Chamber matches and Hell In The Cell matches would go back to being special matches that happen when the story dictates it. I'd probably have them take place most at Survivor Series though.

Triple H Talks About His Injury, Returning, Retirement, His New Baby
By Michael Bluth
Jan 27, 2011 - 1:33:03 PM

WWE star Triple H was interviewed by RXMuscle.com's "Heavy Muscle Radio" earlier this month and spoke to host Dave Palumbo about a number of topics. You can listen to an MP3 of RXMuscle's interview with Triple H by clicking here. Here are some highlights of what Triple H talked about:

-- He guaranteed that he will not want to be like Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair, who wrestle into their 60s. Hunter said he and Shawn Michaels greed to tell the other when it was time to hang it up, and he said he never had to have that conversation with Shawn.

-- Regarding his in ring return, he said, Hopefully the goal is sometime in the spring to come back."

-- He currently does not have a lot to do with WWE's creative process, but has been in charge of running a few WWE shows.

-- Consistent with what's been repoted recently, Triple H said that father-in-law Vince McMahon has been pushing him to take a bigger role in WWE's front office, "to learn the other side of the business." He is at the WWE office in Stanford for the majority of the week and attends many of WWE's televised shows.

-- Hunter also revealed details on how he injured his biceps, which has kept him out of action for months. His doctors initially believed it was nerve damage related to a neck injury. The injury occurred during a light workout, just weeks into filming a movie for WWE. WWE doctor Dr. James Andrews looked at the injured arm and said he could not finish shooting hte movie without having surgery first.

-- He spoke about his new daughter, Vaughn Evelyn Levesque. After 3 girls, he does want a boy and says he and Stephanie have a graet name planned, but wouldn't' share it. Originally, Stephanie wanted five kids and he wanted two. He said they're not sure about having more children.

Former WWE Developmental Wrestler Reportedly Commits Suicide
By Daniel Pena
Jan 27, 2011 - 1:33:38 PM

According to friends of former WWE developmental wrestler Shawn McGrath (a/k/a "Badseed" Shawn Osborne), he committed suicide on Wednesday. He was 34 years old.

Former WWE talent Stacy Carter (a/k/a Miss Kitty and The Kat) posted a suicide note on her Facebook account claimed to be from McGrath prior to his death.

In the aforementioned message, McGrath explained that recent events in his personal life and his inability to fulfill his WWE dream contributed to his decision to end his life.

"The lack of relationship I have had with my parents and siblings since my childhood along with the end of my WWE dream have also contributed," McGrath wrote.

McGrath claimed he made the decision while sober as he's never been a 'drug guy'.

"The only drug I have in my system is Zoloft and it’s a prescription," he wrote. "I have never, ever been a 'drug guy.' ... All of this happening right now is me, sober. No drugs, no alcohol."

He also detailed how he wanted his funeral to be handled and addressed his closest friends.

A product of Heartland Wrestling Association in Ohio, McGrath signed a developmental contract with WWE in June 2006 after working multiple tryout matches. He made stops in Ohio Valley Wrestling, Deep South Wrestling and Florida Championship Wrestling before being released from his developmental contract in February 2008. He resumed competing on the independent circuit, most notably for Ring of Honor's sister promotion Full Impact Pro, but had largely been inactive in recent years.

Carter posted McGrath's suicide note here.

Goldust Talks About His WWE Future, HHH Winning the Rumble and More

Posted by Marc Middleton on 01/27/2011
- WWE Superstar Goldust noted in a new interview with WDFN 1130 AM in Detroit that he is looking to return from shoulder surgery in June of this year. Goldust has been out of action since the end of 2010 after tearing his shoulder in Europe. Goldust said his shoulder was already banged up and he tried working through it for a month but the injury didn't improve, so he had it operated on.

Goldust also said his plans are to come back in 2011, have a full-year run in 2012 and then retire.

He then revealed that WWE is planning to release a DVD to go along with his recent book but he doesn't know the release date.

Regarding the Royal Rumble and his pick to win, he said:

"You know, I kind of like - if Triple H is coming back, which I think he might be, but I'm not sure. If he does, I would have to pick him. If not him, I would have to say probably Alberto Del Rio."

Cowboy Bob Orton Talks About His Son Randy's Success in WWE and More

Posted by Marc Middleton on 01/27/2011
- WWE Hall of Famer "Cowboy" Bob Orton recently spoke with Alex Marvez of Scrippsnews.com to promote this weekend's WrestleReunion 5. Here are some of the highlights:

His son Randy Orton getting into wrestling:
"He started to wrestle at 9 years old and had a pretty good amateur career. He was going to go away to (college), but he didn't know exactly what he wanted to major in, so he decided to join the Marines. That didn't work out, so we went down and talked to (WWE road agents) Jack Lanza and Tony Garea. They brought Randy up and had a look at him. The rest is history."

Randy's success now:
"What's scary is, he's starting to get healthy again," he said, referring to Randy's extensive history of shoulder and neck injuries. "His (in-ring) psychology is really falling into place. He can really handle the crowd while also handling the match. He should continue to improve as long as he stays devoted, which he seems to be doing pretty good at."

Jake Roberts Interview Recap
for full audio please visit http://www.inyourheadonline.com

By: Bob Colling from http://wrestlingrecaps.wordpress.com/
(Over 840 shows have been recapped including WWE, WCW, ECW, TNA, ROH and other independent companies!)

Jack and OIB are joined by Jake "The Snake" Roberts for the third time. Jack mentions that Roberts has a retirement coming up in January. Roberts says the match will be taking place in Los Angeles and as much as he hates the fact he has come to terms that he needs to retire. Roberts came to the decision nine months ago that he needs to step out of the ring. Roberts notes some of the injuries he has suffered some injuries which include Roberts having part of his foot removed. Roberts talks about starting up a school in April which will not be easy and will be doing it his way.

Roberts calls high spots in wrestling to not be wrestling and simply says it is ********. Roberts's school will be centered on actual wrestling. Roberts is not happy about how the school boy finishes matches that include DDT's and sending someone through a table among other spots.

Roberts doesn't believe that there are good or bad guys in wrestling anymore. Roberts thinks the main issue is that their aren't any characters in wrestling.

TC Anderson asks if Roberts plans on writing a book. Roberts is writing two books, one about his career and another one about addiction. He will be writing the addiction book with his daughter. Roberts's talks about enjoying smoking pot, and dope for the first fifteen years of his career. However, all of a sudden he couldn't stop doing the drugs and needed the drugs which was a surprise to him. Roberts realizes that he is the poster boy for being a bad guy to do drugs.

Roberts does think that if he didn't have the addiction he would have played a bigger role in the mid 1990's boom in wrestling. Roberts talks about his supposed "friends" giving him stuff that he didn't need. Roberts is fully behind WWE having a Wellness Policy. "As much as I hate to admit it, Vince McMahon has helped me tremendously."

Roberts was not asked to do the Old School RAW back in November. Roberts believes that characters from his era are still over because how good his character and other people's characters were.

Roberts believes its ******** that WWE will not sign anyone over the age of 30.

Roberts's retirement match will be at Wrestle Reunion against Sin Bowdee. Roberts plugs a tournament taking place in Texas where their will be 299 matches taking place over three days to set a record for the Guinness World Record.

Jack asks about Danny Hodge. Roberts shares a road story with Hodge about not knowing who the Assassins were while bad mouthing them right to their face! Also, Roberts talks about being at the show where Hodge broke his neck.

Roberts hates too many people to give only one person a "shoot DDT."

Roberts is happy whenever someone does the DDT because fans remember him. "No one got up when I did it."

Jack thanks Roberts for coming on to end a thirty minute interview!

So, is that code for "I'm actually coming back this Sunday as a surprise entrant in the Royal Rumble match, but don't tell the WWE Universe?"

I'll be shocked if he's not back on Sunday. With the WWE lacking main eventers right now, his return would greatly be needed.

what hhh said in interview is right WWE main eventers is lacking a legitimate bad ass

like when hhh's music hits you know something is going down we dont have that with any new stars

hhh returning would give us that

The crowd will go crazy when they hear this:

I hope to see triple h return sunday. The rumble wouldnt have that same excitement without some surprises.

i would love a king booker return i know he was in talks acouple months ago

I hope to see triple h return sunday. The rumble wouldnt have that same excitement without some surprises.

Indeed!,Not just for the sake of a RR surprise,But cause I'm still a fan and want to see him wrestle&be a character on TV!

People expected Booker to return as last year's Rumble!,I kinda did too But I would much prefer Triple H right now!

Watched the Bryan/Dibiase match from NXT, very good stuff from both guys, I was oddly enough just thinking as I watched it "i wonder if Bryan will do the favour for Teddy somewhere down the line given how often Ted has jobbed to him" I didn't expect it to be in that match though.

It's interesting that he beat Bryan clean given the end of the show was his pro dumping him and telling him "You can't control your woman and you're the brokest rich dude I've ever met" before taking him out with his finisher.

On a side note the Bryan/Bateman cheating footage was gold. :woot:

Former WWE Developmental Wrestler Reportedly Commits Suicide

That's very sad.

Roberts calls high spots in wrestling to not be wrestling and simply says it is ********. Roberts's school will be centered on actual wrestling. Roberts is not happy about how the school boy finishes matches that include DDT's and sending someone through a table among other spots.

Jake is absolutely right.

Roberts believes its ******** that WWE will not sign anyone over the age of 30.

He thinks it's a ******** rumour or thinks it's a ******** idea?

Roberts is happy whenever someone does the DDT because fans remember him. "No one got up when I did it."

They should do an angle where Jake comes back for a while as someone's mentor and they play up the idea of him showing them the correct way to put someone out with the DDT, then that guy could have it as his finisher instead of whatever goofy convoluted move he was gonna use.

what hhh said in interview is right WWE main eventers is lacking a legitimate bad ass

Some of that is the fault of the Booking. Zeke could have been that guy but they made him look beatable early on.

Kozlov probably looked like a badass to casual fans but HHH wanted to be the monster killer and ended that.

The big show is the most obvious choice for such a role but they've only allowed him to be a dominate monster heel ONCE in his WWE run and even then they used him to make Brock look more menacing.

What's this???

People jumping on the Triple H bandwagon???

Absence makes the heart grow fonder.

Think about all the people here who want Dirty Dave to come back, when about a year ago this time he was being roundly dismissed as an untalented muscle freak.

Uh..what? A year ago Batista was doing some of the best work of his career and a lot people were sad to see him go.

All kinds of speculation was going around about what would happen between he and Cena. Especially after he came out and beat Bret Hart down for Mr McMahon. Big Dave cut some great promos around that time

I was never anti Batista myself, I just felt his face character got stale at times. Though I'm also not anti Cena like a lot of people are. The only guy I just cant' stand right now and don't see why they're getting a push is David Otunga.
