I think he means it wasn't so wholly focused on X-characters. Bedard brought in Spider-Man 2099 and Power Princess from the classic Squadron Supreme and stuff.

I liked this aspect too. You'll always have a few xpeople but make them different than the originals. By the way it should have been ben reilly in that series not miguel IMO though I do love the spidey 2099 costume.
