Well,... I just had a thought:

What if the mind control device only worked partially.

That Proteus started out half-way aware of what was going on,.. and as the missions continued he slowly regained complete control of himself,.... but loved being accepted as part of a group doing something worthwhile.

It would be a bittersweet thing,... For the first time he was in a body he wouldn't burn out running with ,............. friends who could never know he was fully proteus again.

I was thinking somethign like that should happen. Of course, I'm also of the opinion that they should enlarge their ranks. an Army would be more appropriate for what they're doing.

That would be a good way of not having to deal with him as a villian, but he killed Mimic, and what about Morph, not just the body?

What do you guys think they have planned for T-Bird?

Obviously they will eventually get him out of the stasis wall, but he seems very peaceful, now, in his dream world. He has TJ, a baby, and all his teammates are with him. I know Heather said that she doesnt remember her time in the wall, I think T-Bird will somewhat remember, maybe flashbacks. If and when he comes out, TJ will be gone, his baby wont exist, and most of the teammates he had are dead know, plas because of M-Day TJ probably wont remember T-Bird.

So is it just better to leave him in the stasis wall?

WAIT! M-Day wiped TJ's memory of the Exiles?!

Now that would just make no sense!

Is Clairemont still gonna take over the book? Cuz i'm dropping it if he does.

Proteus would be too powerful of an ally for the Exiels

Yea, why wouldn't TJ remember him. Either way, I really want to see T-Bird out of the stasis wall.

Yup, next issue is Claremont's first issue on the book.

It saddens me, mostly because I loved Bedard, but I'll give Claremont a chance.

Hopefully he'll not ignore the Proteus storyline and remember to bring back T-Bird.

I want T-Bird back dangit!:cmad:

Nah,... Makes too much sense to Spread out the workload,....

I'm waiting for the Universe where the Black Panther is female, (Tchalla's Sister), And Married To Tony Stark,......

I've seen this before,.. that was a "farewell" issue for T-Bird to show that he had a happy ending before dropping him from the series.

I don't think so,.. that would cause too many problems in the 616 universe with Nightcrawler and the Scarlet Witch.

Proteus would be too powerful of an ally for the Exiels

(smile)
Your point?

I figure that it would be a LOOOONNNGGGG TIME before the Exiles realized that Proteus was in his right mind,.. and it would probably be because at some point he's forced to show his reality warping powers to save the Exiles.
Afterwards he might reassure them by voluntarily going back to being mind-controlled and they would leave him in his right mind because of it.

As for Morph? If they could just say that Proteus didn't kill him somehow in the take over,.. and allowed proteus to increase his Mass, (With his powers it would be easy), the two could seperate. Morph could either go home or Stay,...(The exiles become the Herculoids with "Gloop and Gleep), and Proteus could stay with his only friends in the multiverse.

....................................................................................................

Nah,..... that made too much sense - and tied up too many loose ends.

My army idea doesn't tie up all the loose ends... of course that's only because I invented a new problem.

they are suddenly contacted. the face on the screen is that of a black teenage boy with glasses (Yeah, knowing me, you guys know who that is he delivers an ultimatum of war against the Exiles with the intent to conquer them. He shows standing behind them the Hyperion they beat, a Silver Surfer who looks less than friendly, a Madelyn Pryor, and a Cloak. Now the Exiles must summon their most powerful recruits ever to beat them. Oh, I also have a gorilla Captain America, A punk-rock Scott Summers (Who aquired an Uru war-guitar on a recent mission), and Craig Hollis leading Weapon X.

In this Cyclops' reality, he was the lead singer and guitarist for a punk rock band called "X-Men". Their music brought humans and mutants closer together, but they crashed as quickly as they rose. Jean was on Meth, Kurt left for Seminary, and Pietro just couldn't deal and ran. and Scott was alone. he leads the X-Men team, and was given the Uru war-guitar because he smashed his own over loki (who in that reality was born of a human woman not a frost giant) and saved asguard.

Lol. I swear to God Zoke, I want some of that stuff you've been smoking.

Nope, he's gonna be too obsessed with Psylocke :(

Me too. If i were in charge of the book, Morph, Mimic and Blink would be the only members of the team who would never change. They'd be permanent exhiles. Everyone else would still be expendable but not those three.

I know this to be truth.

I mean heck, he is already starting out the book with a story about Storm, the Hand, and Psylocke being the only one to save the Exiles.

Boooooo, I want him to bring back T-Bird, fix Morph, and get rid of Power Princess and Longshot. Keep Spidey though.

Yeah those 3 are cool. Sabretooth has been getting on my nerves....I wouldn't mind if he left.

Sabretooth started to suck the moment he joined the team. He was cool with Weapon-X, but they never should have brought him back.
