I know...

I know that Bryan has said he thinks extended versions of movies are weird, but we should really band together and try to convince WB to get Bryan into an Extended Version state of mind. Reinstate all the scenes all of us are talking about for a seperate release of the film that would differ from the theatrical dvd. Maybe if the fans cried out for the three hour version, and really let Bryan and WB know how much we want it, it would come to fruition.

I loved the film as is! It was awesome..IS awesome. And so is Brandon, Kate, Kevin, Bryan and the whole gang!!! My love for their work makes me want to see EVERY LAST DROP.

Let's see what we can do, if anything.

Well with the DVD having all the deleted scenes (about 30 mins worth), I could easily recut it into the film and make it viewable online.

But I hope Bryan does the extended version....it seems it may be possible.

WB IS MILKING THESE DVD SALES.

yeah, i REALLY hope those scenes are edited in for an extended cut. i REALLY dont want a branching system or just a list of viewable deleted scenes on the special features disc. i want them to be part of th film as originally intended.

Warners is usually pretty good IMO about DVDs. It's Columbia Tristar you have to watch out for.

The regular dvd will get released first and then WB will screw us and release the extended version 6 weeks afterwards.

i hope there is an extended edition like the lotr dvds. it probably wont be til down the line though since wb will want to make the most of dvd sales... probably a bare bones theatrical release with no real special features first. singer even said the krypton scene wont be seen til later dvd releases

In my opinion this movie needs scenes cut, not extended. I just felt the movie dragged big time.

YOU NEED TO PLEAD for the extended cut to get anything from the movie because the one you saw in the theaters was really lacking....

Again...SR is a VERY VERY good movie

This movie could have used all the deleted scenes. It would have helped the general audience member understand what was happening better. You forget, not everyone is a dork who lives on a message board 24/7 uncovering all the " super-duper neat facts " about the film!!!
