Ezra Miller IS the Flash

Ezra Miller was my pick for the next interpretation of The Joker.

He's 22. In 4-5 years, he'd be PERFECT for the role.

Shame. Can't wait to see what he does with the Fastest Man Alive.

I applaud WB for casting an openly gay actor for the role, I wonder if they'll write him as gay?

I don't see one having anything to do with another.

And from what I've read he's not gay, but bisexual.

Spread love not violence...now kiss him and make up :)

I would remind people that hair dye and wigs do exist in Hollywood :funny:.

Weird casting (same with Moma as Aquaman) but I do like him and can't wait to see him. Personally I'm more interested in the fact that Marvel has yet to have a woman or a black led superhero film and DC just announced three. It looks like they finally have a plan and I can't wait to see it all unfold.

My money is going on that!

I would actually love it if we got a gay superhero.

Well then be prepared to lose some money because I doubt that they'll go there with the flash. Personally, I don't mind gay characters at all within the comics, but I don't like it when the creators have to take a long established character and pull off a gimmick like that. They should just create a new character altogether for that new role.

Any chance they'll have him play Wally West since Barry Allen is on TV already?

I wouldn't want that for this case.

But a comicbook created character, definitely.

There's a chance, but IMO, very little. The reason: The Hollywood Reporter and Variety report that he's Barry Allen. And Geoff Johns seems to have a hand in these projects since these are properties he handled extensively in the comics(except Suicide Squad), and he established Barry as The Flash in the comics and Hal as the main GL.

I wonder who was mainly responsible for casting him, Snyder or Warner Bros' Executives?

Well, given that Snyder will direct the JL film, you can be damn sure that he'll make Ezra look as comic book accurate as possible on film.

Only thing Ive seen him in was Royal Pains.

I dont know if you can say its really that much of an out of the box kind of casting decision, since we have Gustin playing Flash on tv. Maybe the producers or whoever was involved in the casting decision decided to continue the trend started with him.

As for his sexuality, I didnt even know he identified as queer until I saw his wiki page. I wonder if that will be a topic brought up by the media outlets once the movie starts production. He doesnt identify as gay btw, as some posters have said. He identifies as queer and qualified that hes attracted to both women and men.

Also, and most importantly, does anyone else agree with me that he bears a striking resemblance to a young Billy Drago?! I think thats ****ing awesome.

yeah for people who can pull it off. Do you know how weird he would look as a blonde? It would be like Jessica Alba trying to pull off a faithful Susan Storm.

I never thought of that but he would have made a GREAT Joker.

Depends on the shade. He could probably pull off ash-blonde, which is what I have.

His hair does look a bit lighter here:

The pictures are from June this year.

He also looks older than on pictures that are usually being posted.

Couldn't care less if he has blonde hair or not.
Is hair color really such a big deal?

He kind of reminds me of Daniel Henney, aka Agent Zero from "Wolverine: Origins"

I'm sure it matters to Flash fans just as much as it matters to Superman fans that Supes has black hair.

This kid is going to look great in a cowl.

He does look like he has a bit of Asian genes, but haven't found any information that confirms it.

To be honest, just after seeing those pictures I posted I can without any trouble imagine him as Flash. All videos and pictures of him I saw were from a couple of years ago, but here he looks much older.

Though, interviews of him I saw have already convinced me of his ability to pull of the performance for some reason. The ways he spoke and carried himself were very fitting for this character.

Now, after seeing him being able to pull it off look-wise, I finally and with great joy for being able to do so, say:

Good casting!
