Ezra Miller IS the Flash

I am just not sold on him. I'm not saying Aaron Paul was my only pick or why isn't it Aaron but I'm sure there are other actors who I would have preferred. Hell I would have preferred Grant.

I'm just not sold on this kid. I hear he's a good actor but hell even good actors have bad films.
I like you levi but you are insane

you say this and then say Ray is going to kill the role of Cyborg . wtf man.

Look at Ray Fisher.

Mutha****er looks like Vic.

Now let's look at a better picture of Ezra.

I don't see it and I'm not sold.

I agree that Gustin's better. At least he's a Blonde.

Unless Miller's going to be Wally West?

Because a Flash movie doesn't need to be dark and serious, not all DC films need to go that route. Of course that is all speculation at the moment.
We should not confuse serious and mature with dark. But I guess Ezra will bring an element of either darkness or creepiness to the character. That doesn't make the whole film dark, though

you won the internet with that cyborg riddler joke and you lost it with this. :down

you know better than that.

Umm...

I'm admittedly not that knowlegeable about The Flash. I know there's more than one, there's time travel and a talking gorilla involved at one point, and the current TV show is awesome; that's about it. So I'll be diplomatic and ask the more comic-savvy here...

Are any of the Flashes SUPPOSED to look like a stoned emo kid version of Joseph Gordon-Levitt?

On a more serious note, I'm starting to feel like DC is going out of their way to cast people who are guaranteed to be controversial. I don't mind unconventional casting choices, but they're doing it so often now it almost seems like some kind of publicity stunt. It's odd at the very least.

Maybe if someone could find a picture of him where he doesn't have either red lipstick, shaggy long hair, and stoned face going on, it would convince some that he might be able to pull off the look.lol

sorry, not really a fan of this pick

have a hard time seeing him fitting in with the team

Well you gotta admit, on paper alone...if we were to send the casting list back a few years into the past for fans to see, there may have been a few riots on our hands.lol

1. British Superman
2. Affleck as Batman
3. Israeli Wonder Woma with a natural slim figure
4. Samoan Aquaman
5. Bi-sexual flash
6. Facebook creator as Lex.lol

This is the one casting decision that bothers me. Flash is exceptionally younger than everyone else. Cyborg being the youngest makes sense, but this kid as Flash? Meh. Based off looks alone, he doesn't look the part.

There's no reason. No one needs to be convinced of anything. He's an actor and he'll do what actors do, which is act. What he looks like in past roles and in his personal life has no real relevance here and that's something we should've all learned by now.

And unrelated to the quoted post, but are people really saying he's too young? Gustin is two years older than Miller and Miller's film won't be out for another four years. C'mon now guys.

Grant Gustin taught us that Barry doesn't have to look exactly like the comics.

Gustin's brown hair bothered me at first, but i realized it really didn't matter.

Gustin's personality onscreen is what makes him perfect for Barry Allen.

I HONESTLY think Ezra Miller has EXACTLY what it takes to make a great Barry Allen

Dick Grayson and Batman are my favorite superheroes. Miller was my top choice for Dick Grayson, he's an amazing actor, you all will not be disappointed. This was an amazing choice for Barry.

Out of the box and unexpected, but get familiar with his work. He will NOT disappoint.

It would be nice if they lightened his hair as much as possible without it looking unnatural. Same with Aquamomoaquaman.

Like many of you, I scratched my head at this strange casting announcement from WB/DC. It probably takes the cake for being the most unconvenstional choice in a while, even moreso than Jesse's Luthor.
After doing some research, and watching Ezra's interviews, as well as some clips from "Perks of" and "We Need to Talk About Kevin", it's clear that the dude can act.
Actually, after doing more research, it seems he was on the shortlist of actors tested for Nightwing, if you believe those rumors.
But watching interviews, I liked the way he carried himself, and watching clips of "Perks Of", he conveys sarcasm well.
I'm intrigued.
I actually applaud WB for their decision to cast unconventional people. They could have easily gotten a Ryan Gosling-type for Flash, and it would've been fine but so conventional and vanilla.

Some of you are never a fan of any pick.

Well for the record, I don't speak on anyone else's behalf other than my own, but when it comes to the casting choices, not so much of me not being a fan of the pick but the pick just being an unexpected surprised.

If it's anything like when Amy was first announced for the role of Lois, then I'm definitely going to be a fan of the actors that were chosen for their respective roles.

ok huh?

I'm just really in the middle of this casting. I like him and know he is a good actor. Do I think he suits the role? No. Do I hope to be proven wrong? Of course. And he is also the youngest cast member which feels weird. But I just like my actors to somewhat resemble the characters they play, given time I get used to the changes but the beginning is always hard.

I hear he's a good actor but hell even good actors have bad films.
They have bad films performance-wise, or they perform in overall bad movies?

If it's the latter, a bad movie is a bad movie. Wouldn't matter if it was Miller or Paul in the role.

This is perfect casting the more i think about it.

i would've never guessed this and i really couldn't be happier about the decision

No offense man, but you keep getting on about 10 actors bandwagons for the Flash including Aaron's.

I can't get onboard with Ezra. I'll give him a shot but dude looks too creepy in all of his photos for someone like Barry. Hell this makes Jesse as Lex better so it's got that going for them.
