lol comic book ...mov....ie
Odin gives a little speech in the beginning.
They show a title card for the title of the movie, nothing more than that like the names of the cast/crew.
I just want to say... that...
The Collector looks like Mugatu.
9/10Based on how Thor: TDW is now the second film within Phase 2 that has gotten a good amount of people to question and even criticize the amount of comedic elements within the film, I think it's safe to say that Winter Soldier might follow in its footsteps as well, especially considering that the directors are known for their comedic projects.
I am hoping that Marvel learns to find a better balance in portraying their drama and comedy because I do feel that it's best to have a good amount of both, but not so much where one side is placed so much where people say that they could have used less of it.
I think the first "Iron Man" is the best example of having the right amount of comedy and drama to it.

It is, without question or debate, the best looking film in the MCU by freaking miles. No joke, this film should be up for Oscars in terms of production design, cinematography, costume design, and visual effects (mostly). It's that good.
There's just as many people praising the comedy in T:TDW so let's not act as if Marvel is doing something wrong per say. Now the critics on the other hand down right praise this films comedy far more than they condemn it.
I'm just saying people shouldn't let personal taste make them think a studio is doing something "wrong". It's just that some things aren't for everybody and comedy is a very tough thing for people to agree on
Not surprising.
To be frank, I've had several issues with how Whedon visualized the Avengers film, not in terms of its story, but of how it was shot on camera.
Iron Man 3 looked visually better imho and the stuff that I've seen of TDW definitely looks better than it as well, and the same goes for the stuff that we've seen for the WS.
I really do hope that Whedon has stepped his game up BIG TIME considering on how his Avengers' films are meant to conclude each phase for the time being, so they should look the best that they can be and not be shot as though it were an expensive TV Show.
The TV show complaint rears it's ugly head again, but I do agree that the TA wasn'tshot with the most interesting filters. It was especially noticeable in the final battle, it was by far the most drap looking part of the entire film everything else was nice.
True, and maybe it is my own personal taste when i say this, but three straight comedy films from the MCU...I mean, nothing wrong with comedy in general, but I feel like the comedy can be misplaced a few times within the last two films and we've had a fair share of reliable posters here who have been saying that the comedy in this film felt misplaced at times in the second half of the film.
It's not going to ruin the film of course for me, or for a great deal of amount of people, but I hope that in time, Marvel finds a better balance of how and where to put their comedic elements in their films.
Woah now calling The Avengers and Iron Man 3 "comedy films" is a hyperhole for the ages, neither one of those film were nowhere near "comedies". They were action adventure films with comedic elements throughout, but not enough to be labeled "comedies".
Good grief
