I care more about how the movie will turn out than how the costumes look, but that's just me.

I am taking a wild guess, But it seems to be pretty logical that Fox would release the final trailer about a week before Ant Man and It will most likely be attached to Ant Man.

Some of the worst 'professional' photoshop I have ever seen. I'm a friggin amateur (what I know has been self taught) and with no due humility would say I can do better.

Shocking that someone got paid to make that crap.

Yeah i think it's so bad because of Empire's in-house graphic design team. They created all the effects to DOFP covers, looks kinda similar.

The Thing really stands out in that pic and not in a good way.:o

Here's a rundown of the Denny's FF menu. The Doom Lava Cake looks really tasty and i notice that they've coined the phrase Invisible Woman Slam.:hehe:

The Thing Burger
Hand-pressed beef patty topped with crispy hash browns, an egg cooked to order, Cheddar cheese, two crispy bacon strips and punch-packing Thing sauce. Served on a Cheddar bun with our wavy-cut French fries.

Human Torch Skillet
A hearty breakfast sausage with seasoned red-skinned potatoes, sautéed mushrooms, fire-roasted bell peppers and onions, jalapeños and freshly made pico de gallo served on a sizzlin’ hot skillet. Topped with our new spicy five pepper sauce, Pepper Jack queso and two eggs cooked to order.

Invisible Woman Slam®
Two buttermilk pancakes cooked with blueberries. Topped with fresh strawberries, banana slices and drizzled with a clear citrus glaze. Served with two eggs cooked to order, two bacon strips or two sausage links and hash browns.

Fantastic Four-Cheese Omelette
Three-egg omelette stuffed with melted Cheddar, Swiss, Mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses, fresh spinach, diced bacon, onions and mushrooms tossed in a blend of sun-dried tomatoes and herbs. Topped with diced tomatoes and served with hash browns and your choice of bread.

Doom Lava Cake
A warm, rich chocolate cake filled with molten chocolate and topped with mini chocolate and white chocolate chips. Baked and finished with powdered sugar and a scoop of premium chocolate ice cream.

Fantastic Four-Fruit Smoothie
Delicious smoothie made with fresh banana, a blend of raspberries, blueberries and pomegranate, nonfat yogurt and juice.

Outside of f4 fox movies have a pretty storied history with costume fan out rage. From Xmen 1 to quick silver most recently being one of the most talked about. In the end I suppose it is what it is.

:hmm

I'm seriously starting to think they're doing this intentionally.

Dickless Thing, ridiculous wig, bungee Reed, Invisible Woman Slam. I think they realized this film isn't going to be good enough to make it as a serious film and they want people mocking it online and creating memes so it will get some sort of cult status.

So you aren't getting any Thing sauce on your burger? Oh well, more for me!

Why is that Denny's marketing campaign generating such LOL-centric responses?

I don't see anything objectionable or negatively silly about it, but to each their own.

Because it is once again, a choice of a second tier, some would even say third tier choice for a tie in.

It is ridiculous that FOX, could not find better tie ins for a movie that SHOULD BE the BIGGEST MOVIE OF THE SUMMER FOR THEM.

It certainly is not being treated as if it is...

HOPEFULLY, MBJ's episode of http://www.nbc.com/running-wild-with-bear-grylls will be BEFORE the movie comes out, and can be some really positive advertising for the movie.

Is Dennys second tier? Golden Coral is bottom of the barrel. I'd put Dennys above Cracker Barrel.

Dennys is easily below CB in terms of quality food. Dennys is a smidge below ihop imo.

But in terms of marketing/movie tie ins... they're all terrible choices for that

That's your choice, but it certainly isn't the choice of the masses... oddly enough Forbes doesn't even mention Denny's, it does however mention Cracker Barrel and Golden Coral.

And this actually makes me laugh. We are debating which roadside restaurant is better than the next, because there has to be a way to put a "positive light" on a this franchise choosing to advertise with a roadside restaurant chain, painters tape, and other products that no one can find.

Whatever happened to tie ins with toys, with special editions of comic books, with the Final Four during March Madness, with the NBA Championships, with character tv spots, with products that people actually buy...will their be a book that goes with the movie as we have had with the first 2? Where are all of those things?

Shoneys was top dog but I haven't seen one in like 15 years. CB was coming up until it kept having public relation issues. So Dennys became 1 by default. IHOP and Waffle house are their own things.

In terms of middle America marketing it's fine.

FFINO could be the successor to The Room. We meant to turn Marvel's First Family into an object of ridicule!

I actually wasn't even talking about in relation to the movie. I was genuinely curious since I don't go to Dennys.

I know a lot of people go to Coral. That's why it's bottom barrel.

Toys and publishing are controlled by Disney/Marvel. Who are wisely keeping a very healthy distance from FFINO.
