I guess I really didn't think about it but if that soundtrack is somewhat sequential, that means we are are getting an hour and 46 minute movie and pretty much half of it is a lead up to getting their powers?

Just like the first movie!

And Domashev will be out of commission for it for 2/3 of that or thereabouts.

So even if you're(in general) looking forward to that "interpretation"(why...?) you won't even get to SEE him that much.

Just like the first movie.

Boy they sure wanted to distance themselves from that first movie!

I'll bring the links to the character profiles here again.
Character clips. Quite engaging. They are still trying to hide a lot of stuff.

And some thoughts.
Makes me think of the new Flash TV show, the character in that show was in a traumatic accident and had to cope, same goes with the people he lived with. It managed to be a very fun show.

I'm more interested in seeing this movie now, I will expect a lower level of fun compared to the Flash show, but I won't expect it to be dried of fun.

I agree with your opinion. I feel the same way. I feel like there could be more to the movie that I think it does.

The character clips are ok, not revealing anything I haven't heard a hundred times.

Yep, everything points toward this being a remake of the first film with a few minor revisions and some elements of the second film (a skeptical military that has little faith in the four but needs their help) thrown in.

Based on what I've seen, I suspect this film will be more similar to the first Tim Story Film than the Amazing Spider-man was to the first Spider-man.

Seriously, didn't releasing that soundtrack info pretty much spell out the whole entire movie?

You can essentially make out what's going to happen for like 90% of it. Or again, is this the journey to enjoy?

Don't all soundtrack names pretty much spell out the entire movie? I never read them because of that.

Just looked up AoU and MoS soundtracks and while there are some spoilery stuff on it, it's not as obvious like this one was. You can pretty much connect A to B for the entirety of the movie.

Pretty standard with soundtracks.

And it somehow, for some reason, looks EVEN LESS faithful than the previous ones did!

And it STILL might turn out a bad movie IN GENERAL based on the behind the scenes script issues and multiple possible directors!

Guys if you're gonna talk about soundtrack titles, use spoiler tags, sheesh.

Mole Man.

One of the ones I remember causing a big stink was STAR WARS: THE PHANTOM MENACE....the soundtrack was released a few weeks before the movie, and one of the tracks was [BLACKOUT]Qui Gon's funeral[/BLACKOUT].

WOW. That's messed up.

Oh hey there, soundtrack listing, thanks for confirming that this film has little action until the third act (which went through plenty of reshoots). Amazing how many of those early rumors get confirmed as we get closer to release...

LOL! Sounds like most of this film is buildup to a final battle with Doom and Doom will barely be in the movie. All this setup and talk of being, "grounded" is because a good chunk of the film is exposition for the first 3/4ths. Don't get me wrong, Rise of the Planet of the Apes followed the same plot outline but it's not how Fox is marketing this film and I expect a lot of people to be disappointed even if it's a great film. If this film is a hit, it'll probably just be a cult classic that's incredibly popular on Netflix.

Interesting article on IO9 titled "The Real Reason Studios Want Die Hard Fans Steering Movie Adaptations". The article addresses the "Studio Production Chiefs Speak". Panel at ComicCon, which featured Drew Crevello (WB), Jim Miller (Lionsgate) and Daria Cerek (FOX).

Mr Miller: "Loyalty to the source material is the most important thing. There's a reason these things are popular, and to diverge from what made them popular (in the first place) would be a huge mistake."

It seems so simple, doesnt it?
