LMAO! Nice Manip! :woot:

Fast 6 was amazing.

It's a shame Justin Lin isn't going to direct this next one. The new director looks horrible. He is known for horror films....... He could very will kill what was been one of the funniest movie series.

Some of you need to have a reality check. You need to go to the doctors if you watch Fast and Furious movies for realism and art.

I understand franchise fatigue, but if I was on a roll with a series the way justin lin is with these i'd want to finish what I started, but one thing we can say is though we dont know if the series will end with a bang or not, we do know that justin's time with the series ended with one.

Considering what been set up as the next one, that could be really fun.

I think Fast 5 was better, but Furious 6 was a great movie if you like over the top action movies. I felt like I was watching Die Another Day with all the unrealism going on. For example, Roman and Dominic no selling their injuries from the car crashes. Not even a scratch. I know its a movie, but come on!

Lots of car chases, comedy, and fight scenes!

Loved the Goldeneye sequence on the highway.

50 Cent did a great job playing a hired goon.

The Brock Lesnar looking guy was freaking HUGE!

I'm so glad they didn't re-use Letty being a mole to infiltrate the main villain's group angle again.

The cameo appearance by a major character from a past film to tie in things was cool as well as somebody's heel turn. I also marked out for The Doomsday Device.

Luke Evans did a good job playing Shaw, but I think Luke Goss would've been a better choice for the role.

I lol'ed at the endless runway.

The cliffhanger ending was bittersweet. I was glad to see The Man a.k.a.
Jason Statham playing Owen's brother, Ian, who drops Letty's necklace
, but it also showed my favorite character does not survive. :(

Got a video review for those with time!

Although I feel like I enjoyed Fast Five more because of the surprise element, this was a truly fun movie with good action sequences. And there's an amazing setup for Fast Seven! It's a better stinger than Fast Five's with Letty!

I give props to Universal and crew for finding life in this franchise and pumping hype with these after credit scenes. They keep finding ways to make these movies more awesome!

Who was the cameo appearance by a major character from a past film?

I feel super bad and since i know my favorite character (Han) will be dead in the next one. His girlfriend died too. You know it was going to happen though. Just wish she killed that dude with the rounds she fired. feel bad for my boy....

From Tokyo Drift, Knowing Dom wasn't going to die in this was at all in this one kept my nerves calm.

What happened to this 2 Latino guys in fast 5? They lose their money so they are unless now, lol?

I wanna see Lucas Black in the next one.

Seeing this Saturday night but the reviews have me hyped to see this. One complaint I find interesting is that some fans and critics complain about these movies moving away from the street racing elements. But when the movies did focus on street racing particularly 2-4 they got bashed by critics and some fans. Fast 5 brought the franchise back from the brink of death really. It's just a little weird to me.

I got a question about this movie after watching it that has been really bugging me.

I remember a scene when they said something like this:

Shaw and [Someone] worked for Braggo OR Braggo and [Someone] both worked for Shaw.

Who was that someone?

Or did a mishear it was just mentioned that Braggo and Shaw worked together?

Saw it last night and I loved it but I think I might have to say I liked 5 way better because it was a complete surprise as the first in the new shift from street racing to heist action. But 6 had a better story to me. It did a great job at not trying to make the whole film forced and out of left field by connecting it to part 4 (great job with that, in my opinion). Wasn't too fond of the Letty
memory loss
thing but it was actually handled well and not cliched ("Oh wait now I remember!"). The humor was great, everyone did a great job. Tyrese was hilarious ("...No one has to know this.") I wish they didn't give so much away in the trailers because not too much of the action scenes surprised me much but they definitely kept me entertained. The betrayal at the end was kinda predictable given all the hints that were dropped.

I for one am glad they're moving on to taking place after Tokyo Drift, although that final post-credit scene needs to be explained a little more to me only because it has me saying "Why Han and how?"

And let me just say the fight scenes were GREAT! The Vin and Rock team up was great. Definitely a wrestling move I saw. And the ending was heartwarming with everyone settling down together.

I'm ready for 7, but at the same time I have my worries about it. New director, possibly no Rock because of him shooting Hercules, among other things.

There is a spoiler in there with the Letty thing might want to put that in spoiler tags.

@Shpati,
IIRC Braga mentioned that Shaw taught him everything he knew.

What happened to this 2 Latino guys in fast 5? They lose their money so they are unless now, lol?

It was mentioned they were at a casino or something. I'm glad they weren't in this, I don't see how or where they would've fitted in.

Thanks!

Yea, i'm glad those two were not in it either. I just missed the part on why they mentioned they didn't come. They got everyone else to join the team, but just seemed like the two latino guys got off easy and/or those two just didn't want to help out anyways.

Yea I was wondering why the two Latino guys didn't come this time. Did they lose all their money or something? But yea I don't think they were anyone's favorite characters, they were briefly in Fast 4 and didn't have an impact on the story at all.

I read an article yesterday saying how "The Golden Girls" inspired the direction Justin Lin took the series in with bringing all the characters together. Lol good read.

I'm just a guy who likes closure. So it would have been nice for me to see them have a reason not to be part of that team. Ex:
- the 2 saying they didn't want to participate
- Dom and O' Conner stating that the team needed to remain small and had no need for their skills
- Hobbs telling the team he had no use for them and let them off the hook
- etc.

Since they were just henchmen with only a part in F5's story and a very minor part in F4's story (F4 being the movie F6 branched off the most), I guess we are just suppose to assume they just did their own thang. They were just henchmen for comic relief with no story whatsoever. They were just doing jobs.

Most of all, and I need to know for sure if one of them won on roulette!
- Maybe us not seeing them win or lose on roulette at the end of F5 was just a way for Justin Lin telling us to use our imagination to figure out what happens to them next.

Post the link :)

Really love that this was actually named Furious 6. Really clever comin off of Fast 5. Also really liked Luke Evans, he surprised me

I always love in these movies how the villain always uses some special form of ammo, gun, paint, etc that can be traced to a specific source that will help the hero. This movie did it twice!

The tank scene was great. But you have to tell yourself those cars had robot drivers because otherwise that's a pretty gruesome way to go.
I know some people find Dom's leap to be superhuman but he did have the momentum of being thrown from the car when it hit the wall.
.

Definitely going to miss Lin's direction. There was one shot during the London chase where the camera was overhead and went from following Dom's car to across the city and then to Interpol.

Definitely longest runway ever at the end. Although I think
Ginas character only went bad so we could get another girl fight.

All in all I loved it. Really wish Lin was coming back to finish this thing out. Universal is stupid for not wanting to get him back.

As for the end credits,
I thought the reveal of Statham was a little too quick. The camera could done a slower reveal.
.

Seeing this tomorrow for my birthday. :woot::up:

So did Justin Lin not want to come back? Or did Universal not want him bring him back?

I watched it with my bros and cousins, and I said the exact same thing. I think it is possible.

Definitely longest runway ever at the end.
I saw a little article on that actually. They estimated that he runway was at least 16 miles long. And that Spain actually has the longest NATO runways. So maybe it is possible.

I thought it was good. It made it more shocking. It caught my entire theater off guard.

You are going to love it!
