I think Letty is the one I care about the least.

Michelle Rodriguez is a terrible and annoying excuse for an actress.

Dom, Brian, Rome and Letty are characters that can't be killed off. They can kill off Mia but they have to do it in a new way and not make it too stereotypical.

She knows how typecast she is, and she pokes fun at it all the time. Not her fault if that's what they keep casting her as.

I love how the critics crudgingly have to admit to liking this franchise after Fast Five.

Hell, I didn't care for the series until Fast Five. The first one is okay and I didn't hate Tokyo Drift but I've never even seen the second one. The less said about the fourth one the better.

Letty is just "ok" to me, Mia i don't know if they can kill Dom's only real family left and have him not go crazy.of all the females characters in the mix, Giselle is my favorite. i could see her being killed, but don't want it to happen.

what about the fourth did you not like?

i did think the cave car chase/etc was pretty cool

What I think I like best about this series is that it has the balls to continue forward with the story even if the last one was horrendous. No reboots or retreading. Just carry forward and do better with the next chapter.

People criticizing Michelle's acting in these films make me roll my eyes.

Like Diesel, Walker and the Rock are all Oscar-caliber talent or something.

Diesel and The Rock can actually act though. They are able to show different emotions and have range. Rodriguez and especially Walker are not capable of that

Some guy's rotten review has sent this baby down to 91%.:down

Saw the flick tonight at a sneak peek.

It was solid as fast five.

I was entertained throughout. I wish they hadn't shown some of the stuff in the trailers (the car coming out of the front of the plane) but I could deal. Was still awesome.

The 1 and only thing I absolutely hated was
Letty having amnesia.

Mind spoiling the details of the Kim Kold vs the Rock fight?

It was kind of poorly constructed. All the green screen/CGI just kind of takes you out of it. While the action in Fast Five felt pretty real and was fun to watch.

Kold basically kicks the rocks ass for the majority of it and it's intercut during the whole plane / chase scene at the end. It's only when Diesel gets involved and the shot of Kold on his sholders and the rock close lining him thru the air that he gets taken out.

It was pretty funny however - at one point Roman says that they're basically battling their evil twins and calls Kold the "white hobbs". lol

Also for those wondering I'd recommend another viewing of Fast 4 before seeing Fast 6 as it ties more to the movie than Fast 5 does.

And while I know 4 is a limbo type movie for most - it gets connected very awesomely.

Also - the opening credits recaps everything in a way that gave me goosebumps. It shows a great montage that takes you from 1 all the way thru till the end of 5 to this song - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wTljVXi4ir8

So is the last scene pre-credits
at Dom's house back in Cali?

Also does
post credit scene use footage from Tokyo Drift or is new? I watched that scene the other day and I don't see how they could show Statham throwing something into Han's car and walking away without the other characters seeing him. Plus you can see a woman goes to Statham's car to check on the driver. They obviously didnt know where the series would go back then but it does make it inconsistent.

Yes it re-uses the footage from 3. It intercuts with Statham sitting in his car tracking Han, waiting for him and then hitting him. He gets out on the back side of the flipped car. So Hans car is obscuring the view from the characters from 3 seeing him. He gets out, walks over and sees Han upside down and then tosses in Letty's crucifix chain. As he walks away he pulls out his cell phone and calls Dom, the car explodes.

so Jason Statham is actually in the movie like the earlier rumors said

After this movie, there's not much else to see this summer. It looks like pure fun and definitely one to watch with a big crowd opening night. (I usually prefer watching alone.)

I only wish they had shot this and 7 back to back so the end of this one could show scenes from the next one, kind of like Back to the Future Part 2 did.

Is it also true that the title card only reads Furious 6? That sounds so much better. Assuming the next one is going to be the last, they should call it Final Fast or something similar.

It was a lot of fun - and there's actually some twists and turns that I didn't see coming.
The death of one of the members
Giselle
was pretty easy to expect but some other things were totally unexpected.

As far as the opening credits go - I don't recall what it was titled as. I was too busy getting goosebumps from the recap from all the movies underscored by an awesome song.
