Fast and the Furious 9: The Fast Saga

2Fast2Furious is definitely the Mission: Impossible II of the franchise.
HAHA, yeah I guess you have a fair point. Which is quite funny to me. Because I absolutely love Mission Impossible II in all of its crazy John Woo, slowmo, white dove flying action glory :funny::funny::funny:

I recently rewatched 2 Fast 2 Furious for the first time since I saw it on tv years ago and I honestly don't hate it. It's basically a Miami Vice episode in the Fast and Furious verse.

I'm legit surprised they haven't brought back Devon Aoki.

Wow I forgot Devon Aoki was in this series. Haven’t seen her in anything in a long time. Would love to see Eva return. I thought that was the plan after she had that cameo at the end of Five, but alas. We needed more roided out dudebros, martial artists and whatever quota Scott Eastwood fills and I guess there wasn’t room for her.

It's definitely an odd film you wouldn't expect from the director of Boyz in the Hood (RIP John Singleton).

I guess we have him to thank for bringing Tyrese into the franchise lol

Because the Fast and Furious movies are Kino™ and Cannes knows this. :o

It's not unusual for Cannes to host a blockbuster premiere like this. It's happened before.

Vin Diesel to a foreign audience that prefers their movies to be high class: "Well you see this movie is about family."

If this series doesn't end with one of the last clips being a returning Walker brother with CGI playing Brian and looking over at Dom saying "It dosent matter if you win by and inch or a mile.... Winning is Winning......" I'm gonna be pissed............

So if that social media uproar for Justice for Han hadn’t happened, then you wouldn’t have even considered bringing Han back in?

No. It’s funny because people are like, “Oh, you like bringing dead people back!” I don’t wake up wanting to bring dead people back! But I have to say, that was one that that I actually felt really proud. Because when we started, we were at a very different place. And the fact that people cared enough to voice it, and it became this thing. It made me feel like this character that I’ve been with for all these years meant something to others. I’d never done anything like it, and it is very special. I am glad, if anything, it’s for Han.

Guess that's why there wasn't much thought put into it for the movie.

I'm very happy they are bringing Han back. However, It falls flat because they already brought Letty back. So just doing it again really brings no surprise or appeal and makes it fall flat. But, again, I'm super happy Han is back,

Now........ Had they not have told anyone and kept it out of the trailers and let it be a true surprise, then it would have hit harder.

Again, I'm super happy Han is back, just wish it could have felt more surprising but again, its like ok yeah they already did it once so doing it again is like whatever.

More than anything I think the reason he's back is dumb. They just didn't put much thought into it other than, yeah fans want him back. He's not really dead because... whatevs.

But yeah, this franchise doesn't really make much sense anyway, so who cares lol

Right! At this point they might as well bring Gisele (Gal Gadot) back as well and just be like "Yeah she was part of Mr. Nobody's team the entire time and had to fake her death" Then Letty and Han can be like "Yeah we were all living on secret island with Elvis and Tupac etc.".

I don't care about this series anymore until I see Dom drifting on T-Rex chased by UFO in medieval England.

I want time travel, i want force ghost Paul Walker. I want to see Dom meet aliens and tell them "we are all family".
