I really, really hope that Thor does not join the New Avengers.

I don't think he will. Bendis didn't really look like he was interested in playing with him in the FCBD issue and we know that Thor will be popping up in MA so while I don't think he's going to be joining any team any time soon, I imagine that's where you'll see him interacting with the Avengers.

And Thank God for that.

I'm still hoping Thor returns to Asgard WITH the Warriors Three, Avengers and Herc as their home base, since the Asgardians have left.

That would be super-nifty. Or at least make Asgard the Pym Pocket's new anchor in reality. Bam, instant immunity from Osborn in the USA.

Exactly, you never know that could be what Siege of Asgard's about. It is a crossover event and those who are "outlaws" would be on Asgard at least for a base of operations.
