I mean, journalists shouldn't be the friends of those in power. Which is why the correspondents dinner is kind of uncomfortable. Especially with the Trump administration.

Definitely not. Sara Huckabee Sanders deserves to be publicly ridiculed. They all do. It's just a thing with me. Making fun of someone to their face just feels really uncomfortable. When people are literally making fun of you, and you have to just sit there, grin and bear it... ugh... painful to go through. Painful to watch someone to have to go through, at least for me.

After a minute of watching, I had to just turn it off and read the excerpts instead, but all the jokes seemed funny and totally appropriate to me!

I also cant watch roasts and the WHCD. I'll read about them afterwards, but watching is too awkward for me.

I tend think alot of this foe "outrage" on behalf of journalists has more to do with her critiques on the press than it had anything to do with what she said about Sanders.

The bottom line of these news corporations has become more about entertainment and profits than journalism , so having a comic taking the pi** out of all of them is fitting in alot of ways.

I didn't know how far it needed to be censored. The post was more about the fact that people who googled that word (along with "I hate" in front of it) overwhelmingly supported Trump. Not necessarily shocking, but it does speak to a larger problem with polls. People lie. And the US is more racist than people would like to admit.

Sarah huckabee deserved whatever she gets....... She is the worst WH press sec i have seen. Her voice....her demeanor is totally not cut off for a PR job. I wouldn't be exaggerating if i said that the reason why she got that job in the 1st place was because how close her dad (or how much he sucks up ) to trump.

As for making fun of her looks (i don't think the comedian said anything about her looks...she was mentioning about her character and behaviour), i remember when sean spicer was doing it, trump reportedly was not happy with how he looked and suited up. Comedy Central even had a lady dressed up like him.....

So i think its all fair and good. As for her looks, she also really looks like that crazy handsmaid lady.

You watch Wolf's entire WHCD bit, and she was careful where to cut deeply and what to avoid.

The WHCD has always been about an expression of our free press and speech. Wolf killed it and in the best possible way at a time when the POTUS is actively trying to pursue ways to promote "alternative facts" to the American people along with trying to pressure actual journalist from running negative stories about him.
