Reportedly one of the things the jurors asked for is for the judge to define, "beyond a reasonable doubt". I can see one, or two jurors dragging their feet, and gumming up the process.

Though the fact that they came to a conclusion on the 17 other counts is reassuring. I wonder which count they're having trouble with.

Some of these are complicated charges. It was highly unlikely they were going to be guilty on all charges.

As for the "reasonable doubt" thing, that I gather was due to the defense's trying to cloud it up a bit.

I mean, a pardon is clearly out, now that Trump is pissed over the recordings. I also think he is watching the Manafort trial, and thinking "oh ****". Pleading guilty is his best chance, since it seems like they are not too interested in getting his cooperation.
