Any other sitting president would be ashamed.

No other sitting President would have done this. Imagine the furor if Obama did this to Republicans. He would be blasted for not respecting our intelligence agencies.

The Republican silence only empowers Cheetoh further because he knows they will do nothing to keep him in check.

Looks like they were trying to set him up as well... or he thought they were

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Donald Trump is a traitor of the United States, and I just hope one day he will be punished as one (not with this spineless GOP Congress, of course).

More like doing his job. White House Counsel is not the same as the President's personal lawyer.

I shouldn't have said flipped, I think Trump was expecting a bit more "loyalty" from him though.

Fortunately, some of them are loyal to the Constitution, and not to him.

McGahn seems like a worrisome person to be talking to Mueller, from Trump's perspective.

To someone with a decent amount of intelligence, the White House Counsel should be talking to Mueller.

Security clearance should probably be given and revoked by Homeland Security or Congress or the Agency in question. Or some sort of national security committee. The whims of a President shouldn't be the deciding factor.

I mean, in theory, it works fine. Unless you elect a narcissistic, petty, vengeful, autocratic, idiot. A lot of our system of government has been held together with the idea that it would not be controlled by bad actors.

Which the current GOP is clearly showing the clear weaknesses of.

When we finally get a Democratic president and Congress, I hope they will pass new Amendments to prevent future aspiring dictators like Trump from abusing his Executive Powers.

So Trump allowed McGhan to cooperate with Mueller.

I have to seriously wonder what Giuliani is on.

I'm just wondering what's in it for him I guess. Why did Giuliani take this case in the first place? I guess he wanted in the limelight so bad, that he was willing to take on a poor client. But now that he's in it, he must realize how bad a client President Trump really is... and I guess he's just improvising as he goes.

"Hey, the President wants me to say up is down and left is right... well okay, it's not like I took this job for the boost in credibility anyway. I just wanted back in the show, and boy howdy, am I back in the show now!"

I feel like Giuliani share's Trump's bereaved point of view... he thinks that he should have been President years ago, and now he's just thumbing his nose at the establishment that he feels is responsible for his decline into irrelevancy.

He's the distractor in chief. He's doing his job, taking heat off his client and causing media outlets to write pieces about his antics rather than investigating or shedding light on Trump's numerous illegal activities.

Giuliani basically has 1 job. To throw as much crap into the punchbowl to muddy up the waters so when the final result comes out, no matter how bad it is Trump's side will not believe anything

This gentleman, Craig Unger, has released a book that's undoubtedly going to make some waves about Trump's connections to Russia.

But you would at least suspect he would have a little self respect when he does it. "Truth isn't the truth" is insanity. I think everyone is surprised at how craven he is for attention.

Giuliani milked 9/11 to the last drop, so I'm not surprised he's an attention hog.

I am a little surprised at how he doesn't seem to care how ridiculous he makes himself look. It's like he doesn't care what kind of attention he's getting, good or bad, just so long as he's getting it.
