I mean, I think it was reported that he was up to 7 hours of "president time" a few weeks before the midterms.

I don't think he really knew the guy personally. He just lies so much to come off like he knows more than he does. So last month when he said on Fox and Friends he knew him and said he was a good guy, he was probably lying then.
I think he knew the guy well enough. He knows a lot of the best scummy people and this guy is right up there.

And I'm sure it's like pulling teeth to get him to give the country even 7 hours a day.

Remember when he said he loved to work and didn't see the point of vacations? Now we hear about how many golf trips he takes and how much TV he watches.

Didn't they say Gen. Kelly was the acting president in many ways? Does the right hand know what the left one is doing? As much as I like him being distracted from his job by jangling some car keys in front of him, it does leave things in chaos.

Trump literally can't fire Kelly because Kelly is the one that does the firing.

And contrary to The Apprentice, apparently Trump is afraid of actually doing it himself.

Trump is in his 70s who never had to face any hardship in his life and always surrounded himself with Yes Men; how brave do you think he actually is?

Can I just take a step back from the current events and just remark: I'm still shocked that Donald ****ing Trump is the President. It's ****ing insane and I am as appalled as I was over two years ago when he won. I will never get used to it.

Military Times: Support for Trump is fading among active duty troops, new poll shows

Yeah, not only that, they are getting MRE's. Not even a base cooked meal.

Seriously? Our absurd military budget and yet our military cant provide a decent meal for our troops during a holiday that the GOP consider only second to Christmas? I'm sure more than one catering service would gladly provide Thanksgiving dinner for our troops. Hell, the caterers probably wouldnt even charge the damn military for the food and could write it off as a charitable donation at tax time.

I'm not sure how changing all of these people around is going to make anything better for Trump. Just more disgruntled people to talk about him once they are out.

He refuses to blame himself so he blames others. Those that fail him are his enemies and they must be punished. I assume that's the "logic" that's driving this.

I love that Trump needed to be told that maybe not attending a WWI memorial service over a little rain would not look good from a PR perspective.

His complete lack of awareness is once again quite staggering.

This is pure vintage Trump; he has zero empathy for others. And troops to him are merely for votes, and in fact he probably despise them, hence the reason he insulted John McCain and that Gold Star family.

Did you folks here that great piece about how he mixed up the Baltic countries with the Balkan countries and blamed the Baltic countries for the bosnian/yugoslavian 90s war LMAO. God damn buffoon!! Lol. Bone spurs in his feet and damn bone spurs in his brain too, what a deranged, demented, loony cowardly insecure muppet. Seriously that story is pure comedic gold right there.

Not surprised. A lot of Americans dont know the difference between the Balkans and the Baltic and havent heard of the bosnian/yugoslavian 90s war. I doubt I could point to either on a map, and off the top of my head I dont know a single thing about that war. It's the sort of thing only a niche group of Americans would know or care about. A president is part of that niche that should at some point know, but I dont really expect them to know about stuff like that until they actually need to know for something crucial.

What was the context of his ignorance? Did not knowing it put any crucial plans or deals or diplomacy at risk? Or was it just a typical, "Trump doesn't know wtf he's talking about." type of situation?
