Well the majority didn't vote for him anyways. But the dumb ass electoral college exist, so it doesn't even really matter what most of the US cares about.
Hopefully districts get redrawn to a more realistic representation of the country insted of the Republicans gerrymandering everything to hell for their own advantage.

Yeah, but that also won't really help with the next Presidential Election. Though a few more Democratic governors might help with voter suppression.

Michael Avenatti has been arrested for domestic violence.
Honestly can't say I am surprised. I am sorry for whomever had to go through this. On the more cynical side, probably means he will finally go away.

Yeah, damn that representative democracy, that a majority of the developed world practices in various ways. The UK, Canada, Australia, most of Europe, don't determine it by the popular either.

Which isn't actually an argument for it, just an observation of it's usage.

In the majority of the western developed world. It's a different way of doing it, but they still do it by seats, broadly similar to the college system. It's not most individual-votes wins.

Not an American thing, at all. People figured this out many decades ago that it's the fairest way to do it, you just see the backlash to it every now and again when an election doesn't go the preferred way of those that tend to get vocal on it.

We don't have your electoral college or extremely lopsided Senate that gives disproportionate power to small, rural states. We also don't let politicians decide the mapping of electoral districts. Also, if your system worked like ours, the leader of the Democrats in the House would be President/head of government after the most recent election.
