Nothing necessarily criminal so far, but Hannity was a secret client of Cohen's that Hannity didn't want people to know about it. By standards of journalistic integrity, Hannity should have divulged that he was a client of Cohen's while reporting on Cohen to avoid appearance of bias or conflict of interest, but it's Hannity and Fox, sooooo.....

Hannity says he was never an "official" client of Cohen's, and Cohen just casually gave him some legal advice once upon a time at a party or something, but Hannity was referred to as a client of Cohen's in court.

Hannity has used shell companies to buy up a bunch of expensive real estate, but again nothing necessarily criminal there.

But Hannity is currently erasing any tweets connecting him to Cohen, tried to hide being a client of Cohen's, and downplays it to an extent that seems to conflict with court statements, so it makes people wonder if Hannity is hiding anything unsavory that Cohen might have helped him with, like paying off mistresses or anything shady with his real estate dealings.
I really hope so! :D

I don't care unless Trump goes down, too. Otherwise, it's just another rich white guy going to prison for white collar crime.
Still funny though.

Okay, I remember most of this now. Just not the emails. Thanks. :)

I hope Mueller had took screen shot of every Hannity tweet, because I want to see Hannity in a orange jumpsuit sharing a cell with a man who looks like The Mountain from GOT.

I'm sure he has them. There's a Twitter bot account that automatically screenshots tweets being deleted:

Hannity Deletes Numerous Cohen-related Tweets On Eve of Sentencing

Afaik, deleted tweets are still recoverable from the Twitter servers. Just like Facebook profiles are never totally deleted. With a warrant they might be able to get Twitter to recover the tweets as evidence.

He did not get the reduced sentence he was aiming for, SDNY even argued against a reduced sentence, and the SDNY has flat-out implicated Trump in a criminal conspiracy with Cohen.

Trump can BS all he wants, but as usual, his words carry as much weight as his nonexistent authority.

I'm not a lawyer, he is and know the laws and I did nothing wrong, even though I don't know the laws, and even if I did, it's not criminal, and the stuff the guy that worked for me for decades did it, even though it wasn't criminal, but he only agreed to say it so he could go to jail and embarrass me.

I just want to know who is he trying to convince with these tweets.

His base, whom he could tell the sky is purple and Infinity War was a documentary and Thanos wiped out half the population without them noticing and this is why we need Space Force, and they'd be amazed and grateful he updated them on all these goings-on they didn't know about.

CNN pro-Trump contributor: Trump can't be expected to know campaign finance laws because he is a "celebrity"

Republican "logic" : "Trump's not a celebrity, he's a businessman!!!! EXCEPT when it works in our favor calling him a celebrity - then that's what he is!"

Then maybe he shouldn’t hold political office?

Exactly. That's saying, " The president shouldn't be expected to know, understand, or follow the law, because of what he was before he was voted in".

It's such a stupid argument. I expect restaurant cooks to understand meat needs to be cooked. I expect a doctor to understand the medical procedures he performs daily. I expect the guy with his finger on the nuke button to know the basics of his job that most everyone else in the country knows. Ignorance should not be an acceptable trait in a president, a world leader.

Historically, it actually works out pretty well for the rich and privileged.

That rapist swimmer kid tried to pull that as well.

Rapist Supreme Court Justice also used that.

Looks like it’s a commonality between white priveledge (not rich, Drumpf is broke as fuuuuuck) criminals.

Not a lot of posts from our resident "centrists" in recent days.

Wonder why that is?
