That was clearly an Eddie Brock reference though. Look at the post above this comment, it even says every name is chosen. It's true, in comic book movies, every name is chosen for a reason. They are references/easter eggs to comic book characters.

If that was true you they could have gotten anyone else to do that role Felicity Jones is a quality actress not a one and done situation
