NEW YORK (AP) — Felicity Jones laughs and says "absolutely" when asked if she's coming up with various ways to say she can't talk about her starring role in the "Star Wars" spin-off "Rogue One."

"I can't talk about it. It's really, really exciting but I can't talk about it," she said in a recent interview.

The film was confirmed by Disney's Bob Iger at a shareholders meeting in San Francisco earlier this month. Gareth Edwards ("Godzilla) will begin directing this summer. The movie is scheduled for a Dec. 16, 2016, release.

Glad she's not playing Princess Leia. Has it been confirmed that she's a pilot, or is that just speculation based on the title? I really hope she is one, that would be great.

Felicity Jones plays a rebel soldier and Gareth feels so lucky that she is a Star Wars fan and dropped everything to join the team.
