I live near the big hangers in the uk , and it appears pretty quiet , the funny thing was though parked outside the hanger they use for filming are a couple of red 'Wonka' vans from Charlie and the Choclate Factory which makes sense as Warner Brothers did produce that . Also parked was one of the Black SWAT vans they used in '' Begins ''. So I guess Warners are using the hanger as a garage/car park for props .lol.

Fred Claus was the last film shot in the hanger. If i hear of anything though , I'll be sure to post it .

Yeah, if they know what they're doing we'll get a teaser this summer, probably before Harry Potter (WB movie) and possibly Spider-Man 3.

Yeah, weird. Maybe they are just filiming make-up tests and the like, getting concept footage to be toyed with.

well maybe you are right about ledger started to begin filming this week because caine said something similiar on his official site a few months back :

Michael Caine says on his official website that he will reprise the role of Alfred Pennyworth in The Dark Knight starting in March:

In January I start shooting a remake of "Sleuth" with Jude Law directed by Kenneth Branagh with a very different screen play from the original by Harold Pinter. After that in March I reprise my Butler roll in the second "Batman" again directed by Christopher Noland starring Christian Bale. This one is "The Joker" and the Joker is Heath Ledger. Great casting.

Finally, for those of you curious about what's currently going on at Leavesden Studios, the big lights you can see from the M25/A41 junction are there to film Batman: The Dark Knight, which will again star Christian Bale. You may also catch Maggie Gyllenhaal (rumored), Heath Ledger, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman and Michael Caine dropping into Presence for a foamy latte. But I doubt it.
