That Camaro is oh-so-sexy; but you forgot the Charger, which is superior to all three. Except maybe the Camaro.

I didn't. I included the Shelby Cobra GT500. The only thing "Mustang" about it is the frame. :o

... and the fact that it's manufactured at Ford factories.

It's a disgrace to the 67 Shelby.

Yeah, if you need it to drive your kids to school. :o

This is the Charger and the only one that should ever be called "Charger."

The concept for the 2009 Camaro is the hottest thing I've seen since the '69 and with a price tag around $20k, I'll be driving one home the day its released.

The new Camaro is really gonna be around $20k? I was thinking more along the lines of $30-$35k for the basic model...$40-$45k for the higher end model.

You dispute the Charger and defend this "Shelby"? :whatever:

Camaro for me, loved the new design since they unveiled it.

I seriously doubt GM would release such a highly anticipated vehicle with such a low price tag. Especially considering their falling following. There's no way it's come out at 35-40K.

I really like the look of the challenger and it only has one vote, so I'll give it another.
What is it with everyone and the Camaro? I just don't like the new design, well its ok but I like the look of the Mustang and Challenger much more, does Transformers have anything to do with its popularity?

It was rumored that when they first decided to put the concept into production, it was going to be around $30 for the base and around $45 for the Z28. But they want the car to appeal to the "younger" crowd and they have to contend with the Mustang's lower prices. So, the base price is $20k.

The new Charger looks and drives nothing like the classic Charger and they only stuck the name "Charger" on it to make an otherwise mediocre car sell. The Shelby is the hottest car I've had the pleasure of driving since I had my 79 Camaro we rebuilt. I don't even like the Mustangs. They're attractive, in their own right, but they drive like ****. The GT500 is like a completely different car though.

I only own cars made by Asian people :o

But I'd lease the **** out of that Camaro.

Not to me. I've been a Camaro fan since I was a kid, seeing it in the movie was just a nice bonus to me.

The SS is supposed to have the 500 hp 'Vette 506 engine.

I never enjoyed the feel of those cars, personally. =/

What's this now? *Rubs chin.*

The concept Trans Am. It hasn't been talked about much, but it should hit production shortly after the Camaro. They're shooting for the first quarter of '09 for the Camaro and probably will roll with the Firebirds and Trans Ams towards the end of '09, depending on Camaro sales. But I'm thinking with all the talk the Camaro is already getting, they'll probably hit the market at the same time.

Hmm... I might have to make space for another car.... But we'll see what the final production type looks like.

Supposedly, there will only be very minor changes from the concept to production. A few interior changes and they're going to cut cost a little, like going to 22s to 20s and stuff like that, to make it more affordable.

But they don't give out after 100,000 miles

My '79 had 200k miles and was still going strong.

My POS Jetta crapped out after 100k. I'll never get another German car, it sucks having to wait 3 weeks and pay twice as much for parts to be ordered from Germany just to have something else break the next week. :down
