I'm really satisfied with the head. I think they fixed what was fat in Begins, to make it look more menacig and imposing. The body, as cool as it is, borrows a stormtrooper feel, which appeals to me a little WTF. In general, it looks good. Probably that Nolan & co. changed it for a more elaborated purpose than in B&R so that's good.

So, here's why I believe it looks like crap. It's gawdy. The ridges everywhere are overkill. It looks like those old bad action figures I'd play with as a kid. It's not quite as bad as Batman & Robin bad, but it's still a step down from the suit in Begins.

Now you just sound absurd. Those same people would have seen trailers and multiple photos in various other media outlets before they even went to see the movie next July.

The suit is not a spoiler at all. The term "spoiler" means will it spoil the movie for you? If seeing the what the batsuit looks before the movie is considered a spoiler, I have no clue what you expect to see in a non-spoiler forum.

Again, anyone and their dogs will see what Batman looks like before he hits the big screens next July and it spoils nothing about the movie.

Its okay but i always prefer a sleecker suit the ridges make it seem more like armour (I guess thats why its the dark knight) but we wont be absolutly sure iiiiintil we see it in action.

Yeah true, but then they shouldn't have clicked on the thread that said "First Pic of New Batman Costume"...

Anyways, I think the new Batman suit is pretty interesting. Both the Batman Begins and The Dark Night costumes are much better then all the previous films. The ability to turn the head could enhance alot of scenes, especially the action scenes. I remember watching The first two Batmans (with Keaton) and just watching as he just looked restricted and when he fought the head never moved. With Bale, we know all about the Ninja training and how he is one badass fighter...Now perhaps this will give him the freedom to perform.

moving on, im am SO intrigued by the neck alterations and how this will play on screen! we could be seeing a completely different batman in this movie... can't wait to see this suit in motion!
