That's really funny that Brandon and Kate tried out for Smallville and got beat out, only to go on to be in the movie. I think that's probably for the best, especially when I consider the reverse. The thought of Kristin Kreuk playing Lois Lane makes me want to shoot myself and I haven't been able to take Welling seriously since I sat through the cinematic atrocity that was "The Fog." Granted, the movie was bad overall, but Welling was so dull and lifeless in that film that I think he would have done a better job had he been comatose.

Sad thing is I thought Welling was improving during season 4

The funny part is that Welling beat out Jensen Ackles for the part, who not only eneded up on Smallville playing Jason Teague, but his new show"Supernatural" has better ratings.

Well for me, not really. After I read that I tried picturing Jensen Ackles playing Clark, and it just wasn't happening for me. Atleast not seasons 1,2, and 3.

The poster wasn't really directing it at me but another poster, I guess there is a rule about not crossing over with Returns and Smallville. I bet it is only applied if it is for trolling reasons and not harmless discussion. I dont know.

why the hell did they not keep his curl in the movie the exact same as the bit of hair thats hanging down in his screentest.

it looks so much more natural, because it obviously is.
