I doubt Sam Raimi would let him in.
Only Stan Lee has that kind of freedom.

like someone else on this board mentioned ...."ITS GOT 2 BE SOMEONE(THIING) TO BE COMIC-CON STATUS....." ,so therefore its got to be a curve ball villian that probably no one could see coming in. So i guess would be THE KINGPIN, who is already been established from DD,so everyone knows he and what he is capable of. He could be the one behind the scenes of Sandman and his crimes, as the puppetmaster. Making Spidey 3 going pass the name dropping comic pics of the past and a must see for everyone, including fanboy.

It's all in the presentation. I doubt Peter will be facing off with all four villains at once.

Sandman and GG2 as the main adversaries, Venom and one other (Lizard? Fingers crossed!) as warm-ups for SM4...__________________

Who was the 4th villain in B&R I only remember Bane Freeze and Ivy?

Here is my guess. Let's say that Spidy finds the suit in Osborn's labs somewhere. Wears the suit and fights GG, Sandman, and one other villain (Rhino or someone like him would be good since he is kind of a flat character). Since he is wearing the Black Suit, he can handle all of them at once. We see Spidy realize that the suit is messing with him and he gets rid of it. While all of this is happening, Brock is dating Gwen Stacy, somehow Peter comes between them (maybe Gwen hits on him and he steals her away without knowing Brock is dating her). This, along with Peter getting the pictures that JJJ wants instead of Brock would help set up the animosity between Peter and Brock. Then in the last 10-15 min. Brock finds the suit and we see Venom. Seems to work for me. What do you guys think.

I can't beileve how many posts came about ever since this was announced.

This is just gay... Arad is a dumbass... he was referring to a thug... or Brock... or the symbiate itself... atmost it's a Lizard cameo... which is just stupid... maybe its Cambell playing Beck and making references but no official Mysterio... probably just a thug though

When spidey is fighting some robbers with his black suit on,and they want to show spidey's new strength, they could have the Rhino be one of the robbers.

Rhino is lame as f***... why some some dumb*** run around hitting things??? Maybe the villain is just THC's partner in the heist... that makes the most sense... could be Rhino or Shocker... that's about it...

Who the fourth villian is depends on how the filmmakers intend to use him or her. What do they need this villian to accomplish in SM3? Does he or she only need to provide Spider-man with a quick fight, to show off SM's heroic nature? Or, is this newest villian being set up as a future threat in subsequent movies? Then there is the chance that the filmmakers want to bring back a previous villian. So let us narrow down the options.

If the 4th villian is only a cameo (such as an intro fight scene), it would most likely be a b-list villan such as Black Cat, Mysterio, Rhino, Scorpion, Shocker, or Vulture. I rule out Black Cat because PP/ SM already has enough love interests in this movie. Mysterio's powers may require too much background to be understood by a casual fan. Also, his effects maybe too expensive for only one scene. Rhino might look silly if he is only an actor in a costume. The Thing and Juggernaught come to mind here. If he is CG, he may be too expensive. Scorpion would fall victim to the cost of the CG effects needed for is tail/stinger. Vulture would require the same CG wing effects that Angel needed in X-Men 3. My guess would be Shocker. His powers wouldn't need much explaination to casual fans. CG shock waves would be less expensive than to animate an entire character or body part (such as Rhino, Scorpion, and Vulture).

If this lastest villian is seen at the end, suggesting further development in a possible fourth movie, I only see three choices: Carnage, Electro, and Lizard. These are the only characters I can see being able carry a movie themselves. They are the only villians I could see the filmmakers being able to write an entire plotline for. Also they provide alot of eye candy to the audience ( both comic fans and casual fans). If it is true that Venom appears for only one fight, this might imply that he survives SM3. That would rule out Carnage, since to me, he shares too many similarities to Venom. A future movie with Spider-Man and two clones seems uninspired and unattractive to the filmmakers. Electro is possible, but he would come out of nowhere to casual movie fans. They would be left scrathing their heads, wondering who he was and how he belonged in SM3. The Lizard is the only one who has some existing movie development (as Dr. Connors), and can fit into SM3's plotline. The Lizard seems to be the best guess.

Finally, if the filmmakers want to bring back a villian, that leaves only two choices: Norman Osborne/Green Goblin and Doc Ock. At the end of SM1, NO/GG was as dead as dead can be. A physical comeback maybe too fantastic for the casual audience to believe. And a ghostly appearance has already been alluded to in SM2. A Green Goblin announcement at Comic Con would underwelm the comic fans. However, if they announced Doc Ock at Comic Con, that would create "madness". Also, many have wondered if he really died at the end of SM2. Here, Doc Ock seems to be the best choice.

There you have it. Depending on how the fourth villian is used, my guesses are Shocker, Lizard, or Doc Ock. What do you think? Is any of this valid or reasonable?

I think those are the villians for both 3 and 4. I would rather the Hobgoblin than GG2.

Does anyone think that Hydro-man will ever be used.

I think him and Electro would be cool.

You put plenty of thought to it. I do agree with the madness Doc Ock would cause if announced.

This may indeed be it. I remember reading that Flint and his wife was a Bonnie & Clyde type villain twosome. Now, if I can only remember where I read it.:O

Thes are my three guesses. Doc Ock, Black Cat and The Lizard. I think it will end up being a villain that can also be an allie against the Sandman, Green Goblin 2 and Venom.

Im talkig about part 4 or 5

I know. That was just my lame attempt at a joke.:) I have to admit, they would make a good mix.

I'm leaning with Quentin Beck/Mysterio played by Bruce Campbell. Bruce Campbell will make a cameo in the film obviously, but maybe he'll appear as Quentin Beck.

Whether or not this means Mysterio will appear in the film it could still be a possibilitiy... But I'm sure since this is the last Spider-Man film (directed by Raimi that is) they would want to allow Bruce to go out with a bang for his buck. :spidey:
