im glad the theme will be returning, its freaking cool.Dark Prophet said:I guess this clears the doubt on whether or not they can use the 'spider-man' theme in the beginning. It would have felt rather off if they went with another beginning theme for the third movie.

I wonder what Sandman's theme would sound like, something with brushes going over cymbals to give it that sandy sound? Ock's had a bunch of blaring horns that matched his stomping tentacles I think. What about a Venom theme? Maybe an Eddie Brock theme makes more sense, but that becomes twisted a little once he becomes Venom. I'm glad Eflman is at least part of the music now, and I wonder too if they will tweak the opening theme like they did for Spidey 2; it was a little different sounding than Spidey 1 even though it was the same theme.Doc Ock said:Where is Visionary?? He'll be thrilled to hear this
I'm delighted Elfman is back. I hope he gives Sandman his own theme music like he did with Ock. Loved Ock's one.

Sucks for you then I guess. Personally I'm rejoicing.Mr 7000+ said:Dammit! Elfman is so freakin overrated. His scores for the spidey movies aren't that great and aren't even that memorable. To be honest, I think the guy's lost his touch.

LastSunrise1981 said:This may be a dumb question, but did Elfman do the score that is used in the Spider-Man 3 trailers? I know that's not his in the teaser, but the one that is used in the second teaser and the behind the scenes trailer? If so it sounded really good and had an epic/apocalyptic vibe to it.
Almost sounded as though this is the final film and that this will be the battle of all battles.
Either way I'm happy he's back.
